As usual a comment (linked in title)I made somewhere else has inspired me.
So you are all my witnesses.
Here is my living will.
If I am truly brain dead and need a machine to keep me breathing, pull the plug.
If I am conscience and need a machine to keep me breathing let me live.
If I am a vegetable and cannot swallow put in a feeding tube and hire strippers to perfom nonstop at the foot of my bed. They must be the finest strippers that money can buy. Do this, and continue it until I wake up. I require one lap dance an hour, and if you have to, strap me into a chair so I can receive this therapy.
About that feeding tube. I do NOT want to starve to death.
I want to die of old age or obesity, so I demand that if I need a feeding tube inserted I shall receive 5000 calories a day, with all possible measures taken to prolong my life, including open heart surgery and liposuction......in fact liposuction the hell out of me. Open me up and scrape all of the fat cells off of all of my organs.
I want to live.
I also demand sponge baths by Playboy Bunnies in thong bikinis.......topless!!!!! This is not a selfish request, it is THERAPY!!! No self respecting man is going to remain a vegetable while a Playboy Bunny, in a thong bikini and topless while getting a spong bath from one.
I also want 18 year old Glenfiddich put down my throat at least once an hour.....one, no two....NO four, yeah FOUR shots and hour, every other hour, while I am a vegetable. If anything is going to pull me back it will be GlanFiddich and topless Playboy Bunnies in thong bikinis. I promise.

Michelle Malkin has, probably coincidentally and without meaning to do it, joined in our little rantfest.
Go here for the full article. I find Michelles site to be hard to navigate and rarely find the whole articles I find in newspapers online.
She has a wonderful tidbit on the ACLUs planned actions against the MinuteMan Project, and I am going to borrow some parts and toss in my bucks worth.
Consider this my off topic Anti ACLU Blogbrust contribution, a bit late and a touch snarky.
April 1st, in case you haven't heard, is the launch of the Minuteman Project, an all-volunteer effort by law-abiding American citizens to call attention to the nation's wide open southern border. Hundreds of Americans from New York to Michigan to California will travel down to the U.S.-Mexico border for a month to monitor illegal aliens and alert immigration enforcement officials if they witness law-breaking.
This is a sad thing that VOLUNTEERS are having to take up the slack and do the job that the Border Patrol gets paid to do. Remember they are getting paid with our tax dollars to "do" this job too.
In doing so, the Minutemen will be exercising their constitutionally-protected freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Aren't these CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED CIVIL RIGHT????????
Well, in theory yes they are, but if the traitorous bastards at the ACLU have their way the Minutemen will be arrested and charged with violating the AMERICAN civil rights of ILLEGAL ALIENS!!!! Civil rights that they aren't entitled to nor that they hold.
(if even one of you have a smidge of an idea of telling me about political correctness and "correcting" me on my choice of words to describe these CRIMINALS just take a deep breath and click on your back button.....PC is BS and I don't believe in it. Consider that your one and only warning)
Minuteman Project founder Jim Gilchrist has been harassed by open-borders activists at his home.
Jim Gilchrist, the Minuteman Project Founder, and a True American Patriot, is standing up against those that would trample on our sovereignty by sneaking across our borders and breaking our FEDERAL LAWS. If you or I broke American federal laws how fast do you think we would end up in American FEDERAL PRISON? Yeah.
The group is reportedly being targeted by savage illegal alien gangsters from Mara Salvatrucha (a.k.a. MS-13). Mexican government officials are lobbying American law enforcement officials to suppress the Minutemen's rights to speak and assemble.
Now as to the Minutemen possibly being targeted by this very dangerous criminal organization, MS-13, which the Government should consider a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION, one would think that hearing these threats being made would cause our Government to send out a show of force, which I understand now that they have with the addition of 700 border patrol agents that have been reassigned to teh Arizona border.
As to the corrupt mexican government asking our law enforcement to suppress OUR CIVIL RIGHTS so that the mexican governments' outright, (mostly) unarmed invasion of these UNITED STATES can continue unabated is beyond ludicrous. What would be said if the US government told mexico to suppress the drug trade through their country?
Oh wait. It did. NOTHING HAPPENED.
Never mind the fact that NOTHING is exactly what law enforcment should do, the question is will they indeed do nothing?
I'd bet they wouldn't.
She continues:
But instead of coming to the defense of the Minutemen who are challenging our government, the ACLU has warned the 1,000 volunteers that it will send monitors to document the Americans' activities. Moreover, the ACLU has already threatened lawsuits against the American dissenters for exercising their rights.
Did you get that? The ACLU is threatening AMERICAN CITIZENS with lawsuits. In defense of NON CITIZENS. People that ARE NOT protected by our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Perhaps the ACLU should change their name to EBACLU. Everybody But Americans Civil Liberties Union.
This bullying of pro-immigration enforcement activists comes as no surprise to those of us who have followed the ACLU's aggressive open-borders agenda — from its support for driver's licenses for illegal aliens, to its opposition to detaining illegal alien terror suspects after 9/11 and profiling foreign visitors from terror-friendly countries, to its efforts to stop local and state law enforcement officers from helping federal homeland security efforts.
The ACLU is as anti-American as you can be without actually being tried for treason. If you are an American exercising your rights you are in good with the ACLU as long as you don't step on the toes of the people behind the nefarious organizations policies. Their unceasing support of illegals and keeping a porous border is outright dangerous policy to stand beside in these days of threats from terrorists. When the next attack comes and it is found that the perpetrators snuck in here illegally you must remeber that the ACLU, along with other groups, (environmentalists and La Raza), have in effect aided and abetted that attack, and should be brought up on charges for it.
ACLU of Arizona spokesman Ray Ybarra argues that the mere presence of the Minutemen at the border constitutes "unlawful imprisonment" of illegal (excuse me, "undocumented") aliens (excuse me, "migrants"). Ybarra told the Washington Times that the ACLU will have lawyers on standby ready to file civil cases against the volunteers. He warned that the Minutemen could "come to our state as 'vigilantes' and end up leaving as 'defendants.'"
Did you catch that?
"Unlawful imprisonment".
The minutemen, by watching the border and reporting on the movement of people across the border are engaging in "unlawful imprisonment".
What's next? The ACLU suing INS for "unlawful imprisonment"?
Notice the language they are using also.
"Vigilantes".
By recklessly linking the Minutemen to white separatists and casting them as outlaws, the civil liberties crowd engages in the very guilt-by-association smear tactics it has so loudly condemned. And in putting the protection of illegal aliens' rights over law-abiding Americans' civil liberties, the ACLU demonstrates on which side of the border its true allegiances lie.
The ACLU is a divisive force in this country just as much as the KKK, the Black Panthers and the Democrats. They are hypocrites of the worst sort, defedning civil liberties only when it suits their ends.
The ACLU stands firmly against the laws of the United States and solidly in defense of criminals from other countries.
Yet again the ACLU is on the wrong side of an issue, and yet again they show their anti-American bias.

Terri Has Been Murdered!!!!!

Pinellas Park Fl
Theresa Marie Schindler Schiavo has died after a long battle with life. Struck down under suspicious circumstances in 1990, police originally called it suspicious circumstances, but after being warned by the Lord High Mayor of Pinellas Park, Judge Greer, they changed their official report to reflect The Judges order, and recently have been laying seige to the hospice since Terri feeding tube was removed thirteen days ago.
Terris' feeding tube was removed after her husband, Michael, successfully fought a battle for many years to kill his wife by starvation. Setbacks by those fighting against him, led by Terris' parents, never seemed to deter him, and with the aid of his lawyer "Felching" Felos and the The Judges' devout conviction to the idea of murder by starvation, he never once backed down in his quest to emulate his childhood heroes the Nazis.
Terri is mourned by those in America that still believe that life is sacred and are of the mind that foul play was involved in Terris' case.
In a related development Wall Street analysts have pointed out that stock in Satan Inc. is sky-rocketing today, as speculaters see Terris death as a solid win for the Prince of Darkness and his "Nefarious Plan" put forth thousands of years ago to "Destroy the Soul of Man". Reached on his throne in Hell, Satan commented "While I am sorry that Terri had to die with a clean soul and I won't be able to host her for eternity, I am still looking forward to playing host to the democrats and secularists along with most of europe once their tickets get punched. By the way, send my regards to G.W. We owe him a big thanks what with all of those jihadis he is sending down."
God could not be reached for comment, but his spokesangel Michael, found outside of The Pearly Gates gathering a Host of Angels while sharpening his sword said "While God is saddened, of course, that Terri died at the hands of Evil Men, know that she is in Good Hands here, and she is in fact in a meeting with The Boss this very moment, most likely to be offered a seat on the Board of Holy Vengeance."
The Board of Holy Vengeance is a secretive consultant group that God started putting together just after world war two on the advice of Moses. Moses is rumored to have mentioned to God that locusts and plagues were fine and dandy in the Old Days, but modern man needed punishments that were harsher and harder to combat. It has been widely speculated that Carrot Top is one of the Punishments enacted on the world by The Board, along with Roseanne and Sandra Bernhardt.
The board is said to be comprised of those that die at the hands of Evil, and it has been claimed that Holocaust victims make up the Directors of the Board.

From thebulletin.com:
There’s an old song that says “Love Hurts”; but there’s a new adage in our medically modern world that says “Life Costs”.
LIFE COSTS!!!!!!
Can you believe that after all the country has been through the last few weeks that this could have all been cleared up by simply pointing out that Life Costs? And since Life Costs it is in everyones best interests to let Terri die? After all Terri wouldn't want to be a burden right?
I am going to use just a few quotes from this article. If any of you want to debate the finer points on it let me know.
Florida lawmakers should bear that in mind as they conjure up a bill to keep Terry Schiavo forever alive -- as opposed to productively alive.
Note that phrase, "productively alive". What did I say in the post beneath this one? Once your are no longer productive you will be given a pill and put to sleep, to make room for womeone that can be productive.
Who pays when all the life-worshipping, meddlesome religious zealots, cite religious mores while insisting on prolonging a barren existence?
BARREN EXISTENCE!!!! Perhaps once the death of the useless is common practice people that aren't able to reproduce will be next. Don't think so? It was once "heroic measures", then it was life support, then life support (feeding tube) and then onto life support (nutrition and hydration) and then finally to simply nutrition and hydration. Remember, the next time you eat you are enacting heroic measures to stay alive. Perhaps the state should make sure you are useful before they let you eat huh?
Michael Schiavo's lawyer, George Felos, told reporters there once was a trust fund containing almost $800,000, won, of course, in a malpractice case, to support Terry Schiavo’s overwhelming medical expenses; that cash has been whittled down to near extinction.
Mind you, this is an article that came out in march.....of 2005....yesterday I think, and still the falsehoods dangle out their like Slick Willys' Patented Intern Bait. Notice that Felos didn't mention that most of that money is in HIS bank, along with Greers campaign fund.
Whatever Schiavo’ medical costs are and however much may have been sustained by private funds, there’ still the inevitability we find in many religiously driven fights for life: taxpayers and other individuals not similarly motivated are still drawn in, willing or not, to help subsidize someone else’s so-called moral choice. So praise the Lord and pass that hat -- a couple of times.
I am confused. I thought the left were socialists. I would think that they'd have no problem with paying for things through taxes....oh yeah. That doesn't apply to "useless" people does it?
Consider this: our collective obsession with end-of-life augmentation costs billions each year. The federal agency called Healthcare Research & Quality released a 2003 report showing that last-year-of-life expenses ate up 22 percent of all medical costs, 26 percent of Medicare expenses, 25 percent of the tab for Medicaid and 18 percent of all non-Medicare health-care costs.
So let us put to sleep those that are at the end of their life, or reasonably close anyway. Hey, I have another idea to keep down the costs of health care. Let's just take it all back to the 1950s'. Limit it to rudimentary operations and "Take two aspirins and call me in the morning". See? I just saved us billions in healthcare and it would be easy to implement.
That’s not to say we shouldn’t try to save lives when we can, or even use heroic measures when necessary. But when the patient is medically dead, when the doctors give up hope, it is no longer about saving a life.
Why bother trying to save a life at all? I am serious here. We could save so much. And imagine the Darwinism in play. Full on survival of the fittest baby. You get pneumonia and don't live through it? Too bad...you were too weak. The collective is better off without your resource draining life. Good Riddance.
So what would happen if the Religious Right so damned determined to see this woman live had to pay the bill? We’d see the plugs on those feeding tubes and respirators ripped out of the wall like a malfunctioning hot plate that had caught fire.
No respirators. No feeding tubes. No antibiotics beyond basic penicillin. No MRIs. Basic healthcare from 1950 America.
We could afford that. Most doctors couldn't, and would soon be driving cabs to make student loan payments. But man would we be rolling in money. At least the third world would get improved healthcare.
There’s an old song that says “Love Hurts”; but there’s a new adage in our medically modern world that says “Life Costs”.

If Terri Loses Her Fight

If Terri loses her Fight for Life, and is murdered by Greers death squad I think that the churches of this great land should toll their bells.
I realize that is something usually reserved for people of great stature, but those of us fighting for Terri, those of us whose hearts cry out for Justice in defense of Life, have been dismissed by the MSM and the merchants of death.
We have been called an insignificant minority.
I refuse to believe that this great country has lost so much, has sunk so low, that the death of an innocent woman, when there are so many questions, could be just another blurb on the news and that there are so many Americans that are so seflish and cold hearted.
I simply CANNOT accept that conclusion.
Let those bells ring....let the merchants of death hear all across this land that we are not the minority. That the life of an innocent means something.
Let them hear the bells and hang their heads in shame.

But I just cannot let this "journalist" from the NYTimes toss out his extremely fearful, conspiracy theorist-like article that sounds, if one was to take him seriously, as if the Christians are marching through the streets in every major city and those that aren't Christian are afraid to go out at night for fear of being yanked into the bushes and prayed at.
I was going to take snippets of this article and respond to pieces of it, however experience has shown me that certain people (COUGHmoonbatsCOUGH) always accuse one of picking parts and arguing just those points, even if one does so because the rest is drivel, therefore I am going to shred this article.
Those of you on the right will be nodding in agreement in a few paragraphs I expect, however those of you on the left should quietly step back from the screen and and slowly cruise your pointer toward the back button, for the truth of not only how the left thinks and why they think that way, but the brutal reality below is certain to cause you to call your shrinks. I will not be held responsible for your therapy bills.
What's Going On?
By Paul Krugman
Published March 29, 2005
Democratic societies have a hard time dealing with extremists in their midst. The desire to show respect for other people's beliefs all too easily turns into denial: nobody wants to talk about the threat posed by those whose beliefs include contempt for democracy itself.
What about the contempt shown for those on the right that don't adhere to the nihilistic view of the socialist left in America? Shall we talk about contempt for democracy? The left has such contempt for democracy that two years after going to Iraq, with Democracy breaking out in the ME like an ebola outbreak in a B movie, i.e. spreading almost too fast to track, the left still won't admit that spreading democracy, even at the end of a laser guided smart bomb, works.....the proof is in their face, and the contempuous whiners still refuse to acknowledge it.
We can see this failing clearly in other countries. In the Netherlands, for example, a culture of tolerance led the nation to ignore the growing influence of Islamic extremists until they turned murderous.
The preceding paragraph is true, but equating the cause of the problems in the Netherlands to the growing voice of the right in America is a false comparision. The problems in the Netherlands were brought on by a policy of appeasement under the guise of "tolerance", the very same tolerance that the left so vociferously expounds here in the U.S., the very same policy that causes the left to look away when evil is done in other countries, muttering under their breath that "It's their culture, what right do I have to speak out?"
But it's also true of the United States, where dangerous extremists belong to the majority religion and the majority ethnic group, and wield great political influence.
First off in a democracy, or rather a Constitutional Republic, which America is, majority rules, within boundries. The "right" in America are NOT "dangerous" simply because, if the left were to be believed, the "Christian Theocracy" that is so feared by those on the extreme left is so far from becoming a reality, even in a very limited way, and to consider it makes one sound as if they forgot their meds.
The left however slides closer everyday to the socialist hell they would put us in, driving us down the deadend street that europe currently barrels down with such arrogant abandon. Fear that.
Before he saw the polls, Tom DeLay declared that "one thing that God has brought to us is Terri Schiavo, to help elevate the visibility of what is going on in America." Now he and his party, shocked by the public's negative reaction to their meddling, want to move on. But we shouldn't let them. The Schiavo case is, indeed, a chance to highlight what's going on in America.
Before he saw the polls huh? After he saw the polls, the skewed polls, Tom Delay felt the same, and seeing the false and misleading information pour out from the MSM when the truth glares from even the simplest search about Terri makes me wonder just what passes for research these days with the "journalists" in the vaunted fourth estate. (sidenote. That estate is in disrepair, and now looks much like Tara at the end of Gone With The Wind)
The right does NOT want to move on, but to work within the heartless cruel realm of the law we must cede the battle for Terri and turn our attention to the laws that made this possible. However Mr Insanity is absolutely correct in saying that Terris' case is a chance to highlight what is wrong with America, and when I read the papers or listen to the news I know just what that problem is, where it came from and have the certain knowledge that it needs to be defeated. Fortunately for us, this great country has plenty of experience battling vileness and evil in many forms, only this time instead of being in another country the enemy is here, among us, speaking our language and using our system to usurp the greatness of America, slowly twisting it to a weak shadow of its' former glory, all in the name of "Humanism".
One thing that's going on is a climate of fear for those who try to enforce laws that religious extremists oppose. Randall Terry, a spokesman for Terri Schiavo's parents, hasn't killed anyone, but one of his former close associates in the anti-abortion movement is serving time for murdering a doctor. George Greer, the judge in the Schiavo case, needs armed bodyguards.
The climate of fear spoken of is indeed there, however it isn't manifesting in the police, sheriffs and other law enforcment officers that have laid seige to the hospice where Terri slowly starves to death. That fear manifests in the protesters outside that hospice. It manifests in countless posts and the comments that fly around the ether of cyberspace, bemoaned and decried as the loss of Americas soul. It manifests in the admonition of "Don't let this happen to you, get a living will." It manifests in the hearts of those that don't believe that dying by starvation is peaceful and painless, causing them anger almost beyond words and a desire to see justice done.
If any fear manifests in the left it is the slow creeping fear that maybe they aren't correct, the small weak whisper of conscience that calls out to them when their world falls silent and the wisdom of their heart is able to scream through the secularist wall of separation that has been built between their heart and their mind by a society gone wrong
Another thing that's going on is the rise of politicians willing to violate the spirit of the law, if not yet the letter, to cater to the religious right.
The spirit of the law? The letter of the law? Both have been tossed out by Greer The Scrutable. That rise of politicians weren't catering to the religious right, they were answering the insistent calls of their conscience that yelled at them "STARVATION IS WRONG!!!" If Terri were a vegetable why not clear up the questions posed by so many so loudly? If she were a vegetable what would she care? A few more weeks to Terri would not make a difference one way or the other. If however, she is not a vegetable, as so many believe, then starving her is cruel and unusual punishment. If she has shot michael to death 15 years ago, with no criminal record, with Gloria Allred and NOW standing behind her, she would have been out by now.
That last thought is a sad one isn't it?
Everyone knows about the attempt to circumvent the courts through "Terri's law." But there has been little national exposure for a Miami Herald report that Jeb Bush sent state law enforcement agents to seize Terri Schiavo from the hospice - a plan called off when local police said they would enforce the judge's order that she remain there.
The same people, as has been pointed out so much lately, that decry the "meddling" by congress and warn of dire consequences both political and legal were state or federal troops to go in and treat Terri as the hostage she is are the same people that screamed until Janet Renos' stormtrooopers charged into a house in the middle of the night and yanked a terrified young boy from a closet at gun point.
Hypocrites all.
And the future seems all too likely to bring more intimidation in the name of God and more political intervention that undermines the rule of law.
The religious right is already having a big impact on education: 31 percent of teachers surveyed by the National Science Teachers Association feel pressured to present creationism-related material in the classroom.
Let us talk about intimidation in the name of secularism shall we? The left, with the ACLU as their legal terrorists, have been beating back the right for many years now, intimidating us with the threat of lawsuits under the guise of Freedom of Religion. Political intervention is being practiced by the left everyday in court rooms across the land, using activist judges to overturn the rule of law and the peoples directives to further their socialist ideals. Ideals that I don't have to tell you include the destruction of organized religion, to be replaced with the religion of the socialists, Humanism, where a life is only valuable if it can contribute, where the only moral question ever posed is "Is this action good for the state?"
As for creationism related material in the classroom it can be presented as a litmus test to science. Every group of people that ever had their myths and legends survive to modern day for scrutiny and dissection has a creation story, almost all of them remarkably similar. Read Joseph Campbells' "The Power of Myth" for a more indepth take on this subject.
But medical care is the cutting edge of extremism.
Yes, medical care, or rather the withdrawal of it, is the cutting edge of extremism, and if this extremism is not beaten back we will continue down a dark road where once you have served your time in thsi life and all usefulness is gone from you a pill will be given to you to make room for one that is more productive, one whose life has more "worth" to the state.
Yesterday The Washington Post reported on the growing number of pharmacists who, on religious grounds, refuse to fill prescriptions for birth control or morning-after pills. These pharmacists talk of personal belief; but the effect is to undermine laws that make these drugs available. And let me make a prediction: soon, wherever the religious right is strong, many pharmacists will be pressured into denying women legal drugs.
This is actually the less government intervention that we talk about. This is a private business, not a government business, and each person should be allowed to base what they sell on the criteria they choose, not on what the government says.
And it won't stop there. There is a nationwide trend toward "conscience" or "refusal" legislation. Laws in Illinois and Mississippi already allow doctors and other health providers to deny virtually any procedure to any patient. Again, think of how such laws expose doctors to pressure and intimidation.
Again, a health care provider is not bound by law to service you in every little whim, and their job is to keep you healthy or bring you back to health. If a health care provider denies care that causes harm there are avenues to correct that. Assumption that doctors need more regulation to ensure that every medical treatment is available to you is absurd, as doctors, most of them, right now anyway, do everything in their power to heal. Let this "right to die" movement gain more steam and less doctors will adhere to their hippocratic oath.
But the big step by extremists will be an attempt to eliminate the filibuster, so that the courts can be packed with judges less committed to upholding the law than Mr. Greer.
The judiciary is in dire need of reform. Supreme court judges have been using international law and opinion to base rulings on, activist judges overturn the will of the people, in deference to the left, on a constant basis. If anything UPHOLDING the law is teh one thing activist judges do NOT do.
We can't count on restraint from people like Mr. DeLay, who believes that he's on a mission to bring a "biblical worldview" to American politics, and that God brought him a brain-damaged patient to help him with that mission.
There is simply no rebuttal for this. Wait, yes there is. Mr. DeLay isn't basing anything on a "biblical worldview", he is basing it on common decency and moral fiber, two things that the majority of the far left lack.
What we need - and we aren't seeing - is a firm stand by moderates against religious extremism. Some people ask, with justification, Where are the Democrats? But an even better question is, Where are the doctors fiercely defending their professional integrity? I think the American Medical Association disapproves of politicians who second-guess medical diagnoses based on video images - but the association's statement on the Schiavo case is so timid that it's hard to be sure.
No, what we need is a return to compassion and common sense, along with a stand by moderates, but for the moderates to stand against extremism of either stripe, left or right, would place them firmly at the other end of the extremists, at least to the public perception it would. I believe that the term "religious extremism" has been warped to include anyone that is fighting a battle from a moral standpoint and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of those on the left that have stood with us against the murder of Terri to be vilified as turncoats and even worse by those on their side of the street.
The reason that doctors have not taken a collective stand is because doctors, for the most part, don't hand out diagnosis' based on what is written by non-doctors, and while many probably have their own opinions about this case they keep quiet, as their training has taught them to haev the facts before making a diagnosis.
The closest parallel I can think of to current American politics is Israel. There was a time, not that long ago, when moderate Israelis downplayed the rise of religious extremists. But no more: extremists have already killed one prime minister, and everyone realizes that Ariel Sharon is at risk.
Ya gotta love those moonbats that just take your argument and unwittingly toss it to you, all cleaned up and ready to play with eh? Isreal did downplay the danger of religious extremists, especially the powerless religious extremists with a propensity for strapping high explosives to themselves and killing a few kids on their way to Allah. Those on the right simply wouldn't kill themselves for their cause. It is against EVERYTHING that the right stands for. Blow up the other guy? It's been done. But the danger is not from religious extremists riding roughshod over the right to die movement. It is the right to die movement riding roughshod over the disabled, the frail and the elderly.
It is the extreme godless religion of the democratic socialists that are the danger here.
America isn't yet a place where liberal politicians, and even conservatives who aren't sufficiently hard-line, fear assassination. But unless moderates take a stand against the growing power of domestic extremists, it can happen here.
Yes, fear the religious right, but not the vocal bible thumping religious right. Fear the religious right that is the majority of America and those allies they have of any stripe that still live by a moral code that says "Life IS Precious". But do not fear that we will take up arms against you, (though since most of us have guns and most on the left don't I can see where your fear springs from), fear rather that we are RIGHT,a nd that we DO have a majority that stand beside us. Fear us because your traitorous brand of evil will NOT be allowed to stand, and you know it.
I was going to take snippets of this article and respond to pieces of it, however experience has shown me that certain people (COUGHmoonbatsCOUGH) always accuse one of picking parts and arguing just those points, even if one does so because the rest is drivel, therefore I am going to shred this article.

Read the story linked in the title. It is about a professor that is going to test stunguns on pigs.
PETA, of course, is up in arms about it.
I agree with them.
We shouldn't be testing these stun guns on those poor innocent pigs.
What did those pigs ever do to anyone?
NOTHING!!!!!!
Let's test them on PETA members instead!!!!

Yes, it is Tuesday and that means that it is time, once again, to tell Kerry to release that Form 180.
Send this form to Kerry, along with a pen so he can sign it.
Here is johnnie boys email address, so shoot him an email asking that worm where he gets the "Gaul" to lie so aften and so badly, and tell him to sign that damn form while he is at it.
There is also a blogroll you can join and post about this every tuesday. Check some of my "right" links....alot of those folks are on that roll...and I will post that blogroll on my sidebar soon, I really will.
The ACLU, as usual, on the wrong side of things.

This sordid little tale is another fine example of the ACLU butting in where they don't belong. Namely, in between parents, a school administration, and kids.
The ACLU, now fully in the midst of their rush to destroy America, has asked a school to drop the punishments of some highschool athletes that were caught at a party where there were several kids cited for underage drinking.
These kids and their parents, signed contracts with the school and knew full well that they were breaking the schools rules, not to mention the law, by being at a party and drinking underage.
But now the ACLU steps in saying that these contracts that the kids and their parents signed voluntarily are null and void because this party happened after school hours and off of school property. No way. They signed these contracts voluntarily, knowing that to be allowed to play in the schools sports programs they needed to keep up a certain standard of behavior.
Now they are being told, "Don't worry kids, consequences schmonsequences, you aren't subject to hold true to your words and shouldn't be held accountable for your actions that were unjustly and illegally infringed upon by those evil school administrators."
What kind of a world is the ACLU thrusting upon us?
When will this insanity end?
When the people of America stand up and say ENOUGH!!!
We need to teach our children personal responsibility.
We need to teach them that there are indeed consequences for their actions, and that there word is their bond, and when you give that word, either orally or by signing a contract you are expected to adhere to it.
It is not only the moral thing to do, it is the legal thing to do. If the kids had been the only ones to sign it would be null and void since children are barred by law from entering into legally binding documents. But their parents signed them also.
Which leads me to wonder, where were the parents?
I hope the ACLU doesn't get their way by threatening to sue. They gain more power every time that someone surrenders without a fight. I hope this school stands on their principals (figuratively) and tells the ACLU to head to hades.

I was going to wait until Terri passes to post this, however hope is lost, not only for Terri but for America as well. I am sure that after a few days the resignation will fade, as those that wished Terri dead, or at least wouldn't help attempt to save her continue to comment and once again anger me and those that still know the greatness of this country, those that still believe that we are not some servant of the elite and the corporations, that we have purpose beyond buying the newest gadget or seeing the latest hollywood drivel.
So this sadness will fade, dropping down below the surface, to be used as a club against the evil that is creeping ever forward, stealing all that is good under the guise of "humanism" and "socialism".
This feeling of utter failure to save an innocent womans life will be harnessed to battle those that would steer us away from the moral path, pointing out their lack of compassion and their complete vileness, along the way perhaps to cause some to rethink their beliefs and realize that with life, like power, comes responsibility. The responsibility to aid those in need and fight those that would do us harm for their petty worldy wants and desires.
Already I am feeling the rightous fire, welling up to scream at those against us, to meet them head-on and vanquish this pervasive evil that creeps ever forward. But it will again fade once those dreaded words come....."Terri Schiavo has died."
THE DEATH OF AMERICAS SOUL
We're The Land of the Free
And the Home of the Brave
Always told just How lucky we are
And once that was True as the People rolled in
While the Freedom flowed out Wide and Far
Now it is gone and Liberty weeps
Our Goodness is slipping away
Lives we once saved
But death we now praise
As Liberties' head hangs in shame
While the Old world calls out
For it's prodigal son
"Join us, we will show you the way"
Americas' Right sits and screams through the night
"We have all lost our souls on this day"
Our "Blessings' Securer" shall soon slip away
Abandoned and deservedly so
Through the storm we will rage
And trembling we'll pray
And cry "God where did you go?"
Huddled masses won't swarm to these once Golden Shores
You see Freedom is no longer here
For this land of the free
And the home of the brave
Is the hovel of death loving fear
As the years stretch along and Old Glory fades
While the greatness we've known slips away
History will peer
Through the dim mists of time
And claim that we Died on this day.
Dedicated to Theresa Marie Schindler
May she rest in peace, God knows we won't.

In days of old in a kingdom bold
There lived a fearsome dragon
And the King he was in great distress
And the countries spirits flagoned
Until one day there came a knight
He was handsome bold and charming
And he slew the dragon with his sword
And a smile that was so disarming
Said the King I wish to know your name
The knight said do not bother
For the name of a knight of the realm says he
Is the same as any other
Tonight says the King in my daughters bed
You shall take your leisure
And she'll reward you for your deed
With a night of exhausting pleasure
One daughter she had raven hair
A maiden young and chaste
And she slept all night in the pale moonlight
Naked to the waist
The other daughter she was fair
The fairest in the town
And she slept all night in the pale moonlight
Naked from her small waist down
That knight spent many hours
Behind those castle walls
But the ending to this story friend
Is not what you think at all
For in neither bed of neither maid
Was he repaid his glory
For he spent the night with the King instead
'Cuz this is a fairy story!!!

**In response to a good point brought up by a commenter, (thanks LadyFreque) I just want to point out that food and water are not heroic measures.....but if they are considered to be heroic measures then I want all "heroic measures" ended imediately to keep those on death row alive until we kill them.**
A neurologist named Beatrice Angstrom was just on Fox saying she filed an affadavit with the court on March 1st saying that Terri is not PVS, (DUH) and should be given the help she needs.
The Truth is coming out.
In the meantime Greer is still refusing to unseal the records....if you are reading this and still think that Greer and his death squad is NOT hiding something then GET THE FUCK OFF OF MY BLOG MORON!!!!
***BREAKING NEWS****
SCOTUS has refused to hear the appeal by Terris' parents.
**Thoughts on this**
It sucks that Terris parents can't go comfort their dying daughter. If this were my child only God himself could keep me away. If I were Terris dad I would go kill michael right now. Then he would be dead...and mom would have custody...and if, at that point, greer refused to give gaurdianship to mom then even someone in Terris' condition could see that he is hiding something.
And to all of you out there that think Congress' actions were "tyranny" I want you to think about this......the courts are the ones being tyrannical...greers refusal to release records is de facto proof that something needs to be hidden from the prying eyes of the public and those with the power to prosecute wrongdoing.
It is the courts that are acting tyrannical, and they should be called on the carpet for their activism and their blatant obstructionism of the legititmate questions of Congress.
And since it being left up to Greer, (for some ungodly reason) to decide on Bushs petition for custody of Terri does anyone out there really think that the most dis-honorable pusbag suck-ass judge greer is going to allow it?
Fuck Greer.
***EVEN MORE THOUGHTS***
If Terri were black, or gay or muslim would saving her life be an issue that most on the left would be for then?

Drug Laws, Womens Rights & The ACLU

There is something seriously wrong in this country.
Linked in the title is a story on a report called "Caught in the Net: the Impact of Drug Policies on Women & Families. This report, co authored by the ACLU, a group called Break The Chains and The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law compiled research on the effects of the drug laws on women and children.
This is going to be a short post, because what I have to say on this is clear, level headed and bound to piss off some of the whiners out there that have no common sense and too damned much empathy.
First some bits from the story.
Lenora Lapidus, Director of the ACLU Women’s Rights Project ahs this to say on the drug laws today, "We’ve gone from being a nation of latchkey kids to a nation of locked-up moms, where women are the invisible prisoners of drug laws, serving hard time for someone else’s crime,"
Whose crimes are these women serving time for? Do these authors expect me to believe, without citing anything, that there is a huge number of women in this country serving time, hard time at that, for someone elses crimes?
Aint happenin' folks....neither the droves of women wrongfully serving time OR me believing that pantload.
She goes on to say;
"Family values ought to mean keeping families together. Treatment can cure drug addiction, but there’s no cure for a family destroyed."
hhhmmm...let me point out a couple of key phrases in that sentence.
"Family Values".....How about these family values?
DON"T USE DRUGS!!!!!!!
This is a simple premise, and I personally consider people that use drugs to the point of ruining not only their own life, but that of their family, especially their children, to be weak individuals, but NOT weak in the sense that they need "rehabilitation" but weak in the sense that they have absolutely no sense of CONSEQUENCES!!!!!
There is always some wrongheaded leftist, such as the ACLU, saying "It isn't your fault you got hooked on crack mr/ms victim, if society weren't against you you would never have used an illegal drug at all."
The Victim Mentality...nothing is my fault.
According to this report the number of women in jail, prison etc. increased 888% from 1986 to 1999....now this report posits the idea that it is the drug laws that caused this.
I however think that perhaps, just maybe, it could be because of either;
A) The authorities have gotten wiser and less discriminatory about women and crime, (which would be a good thing right? We don't want cops simply dismissing someone as a suspect because of their gender and societal standards that say "women aren't druglords" do we?)..or it could be;
B)More women are committing these crimes and getting caught for it, which just steps right back into "A".
Over all the report says, (without differentiating drug crimes from other crimes), that there are one million women in the system in one form or another, (jail, prison, parole etc.) and they call this a travesty?
We have almost 300 million people in this country, of which there are about 108,133,727 women over the age of 18. That is less than a one percent chance if you are a woman that you are sitting in jail or otherwise involved in the wrong end of our penal system.
Now the ACLU, in fighting for loosening the drug laws in this country never once exhorts people to follow the law. This is one of the major problems with the ACLU.
(Side note here: Having been to Santa Cruz CA., and knowing the college scene there, I find it very amusing that the ACLUs' Drug Law Reform Project is based there.)
They are a big group of "Criminal Enablers" and I think the whole bunch of 'em need therapy and lots of meds.
They would have us decriminalize drugs, releasing the scourge of a full on drug culture on us, with no concern with the fact that the people you need sober to do their jobs, (like cops, air traffic controllers...well, just about everyone that isn't an "artist" or a holder of a "liberal arts degree") would get a new set of rules put in place for them once the first one screwed up at work, most likely causing a death, with that very same ACLU jumping to their defense saying "It isn't Mr. Weakwills fault...the drugs were there, they are legal, and if you fire him or try to prosecute him you are trampling on his rights.
I bet it would never occur to the ACLU at that point to think, "Jeez, we got these laws changed....maybe this was a bad idea."
This report goes on to say that the cost of rehab is substantially less than incarceration....well....FUCKING DUH!!!!
Problem is that rehab only works when the rehabee WANTS it to work and most people will seek that service out if they make it to that point.
The problem isn't the drug laws....it is the law breakers.
The problem isn't "Rehab"...it is lack of PUNISHMENT.
I could sit here for awhile talking bullet points on this report, but I won't. I promised you a short post, and you can read, (unless you are a DU member) and you can draw your own conclusions here, (see above remark about the DU'ers)
My purpose in pointing this report out was simply to say that the cure we are proposing is a bad idea.
People that use drugs do need help, but they need to be punished also. Gently the first time....but much harsher after that.
Now this report does bring up some good points about the way the laws are used and written......but fix the laws to punish the guilty....don't legalize the drugs....legalizing drugs to "fix" the drug problems in America is like amputating someones arm for a hangnail.
'Nuff Said!!!

As stated below I hate the AP....and in the midst of the fight for Terri I didn't want this to slip by without comment. I saw it last night and decided to blog it. I planned it to be my only post today due to being away.....but plans change.
The AP is being sued....by a group of Navy SEALS and the wife of a special forces member.
Good for them.
And before one of the moonbats that tend to troll my blog lately begin harping about the freedom of the press bit let me be pre-emptive and say go to hell.
Our boys in uniform, especially the ones that are heavily into covert action, must have a level of privacy and security, and it is absolutely irresponsible for the AP to publish those photos, and they should NOT publish photos of our covert troops, ever.
Yes, even if they are "newsworthy" or are of "public interest".
Terrorists see the same photos we do....they can use the same internet, basically they have the same search capabilities that you or I have, and maybe even some better ones because they don't have a problem with breaking the law to follow their wrongheaded fanaticism.
Besides that the AP didn't even take the photos....they did not own the photos...they weren't given permission to use the photos....they stole the photos from a website....and published them with an article....I believe these were some of the photos from Grab-An-A-Rab prison, but they were not the photos that led to legal action.
In fact, per the article: The AP later reported the Navy's preliminary findings showed most of the 15 photos transmitted by the agency were taken for legitimate intelligence-gathering purposes and showed commandos using approved procedures.
The AP is now, of course, being sued for copyright infringment also.
I hope these guys win alot of money.
The AP sucks.

The AP is a bunch of idiotic asswipes that wouldn't know research if it came up and parsed sentences at them.
Regardless of all of the info on Terris' condition just dripping out of damn near every monitor, tv set and news outlet in the country, this ill-informed simpleton at the AP, Matt Crenson, continues to use the term "life support" when referring to Terri's case.
Listen up Crenson....."A G-TUBE IS NOT LIFE SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!"
Do you get that? It simply supplies food and water, kinda' like your trachea.
On the upside the story he wrote is highlighting the battle in cyberspace between those compassionate folks on and in the right and their (possibly) temporary and more sensible allies from the left, and the blogs and sites we inhabit, so to speak.
Oh, and he quotes Dory from Wittenberg Gate and mentions Attempted Murder and caps off his biased little article with this.
"Polls by so-called 'polling experts' are almost always biased. I have never and will never participate in such a poll," Rick Allen writes on BlogsforTerri.

With a tip o' me tam to Parrot Check. (PC is linked in the title)
Apparently some idiot on democratic underground has written the following;
“Terri Schiavo has the same likelihood of swallowing as a Chia Pet.” Other things with the same likelihood of swallowing as Terri Schiavo:
- A slab of granite
- A watermelon
- A hubcap from a 1989 Ford Escort
- Play-Doh
- etc.

Here is another gem from part of the same crew;
Unfortunately for his idiotic move, it’ll be struck down by a court very soon because she is in no
way capable of testifying before congress. SHE HAS NO BRAIN!
Walt Starr
Now first I want you to pay particular attention to the fact that this is normal posting on DU. I am not a member, not only because I hate them and wouldn't want to be in that group but because it is well known that free speech only extends to their view and they will ban anyone with even a hint of "right-thinking".
I expect that is due to the fact that unlike Terri, those at the DU have no brains and it is jealousy that causes them to ban those on the right so quickly.
Speaking of not having a brain, if the left does believe that Terri has no brain then I would expect the dems to be the first one to rush to save her.....after all, people always try to protect their own.

Here is another gem from part of the same crew;
Unfortunately for his idiotic move, it’ll be struck down by a court very soon because she is in no
way capable of testifying before congress. SHE HAS NO BRAIN!

Just a thought....

...but isn't michael, felos, greers et.al restricting Terris' parents rights to express their religion by stopping them from taking care of their daughter since it is their professed belief as catholics, (not to mention the Popes) that starving thier daughter to death is against their religion?
Where the hell is the ACLU on this one?
I will tell you where...on teh wrong side of things...as usual.

For what you ask?
Why, to remove the feeding tubes from michael, felos and greer of course.....
And I'd like to try to do it like they do in one of those kung fu movies.......
Then I'd hand their feeding tube back to them and say, (we all know how this bit goes...mouth moving WAY out of sync with the words, and in a choppy kungfu guy accent), "Here, smoke this pipe....biatch!!"
Then give 'em a Dean Scream with a Boot to the Head!!!

***I was bored after writing this and was clicking through every blog on the blorroll for Terri and skimming through th efrst few lines when this caught my attention. Becki Snows blog is reporting that a woamn got arrested trying to take terri water. I thought this would happen, but hadn't heard of it until now...I am no longer bored...I am now mad again and going to take a wlak in the dark, windy rainy night to cool off***
Out of all of the blogosphere and all of those hits, (of which 14 have hit my blog from that search term in the last few days), you would think that there would be alot of pages above my little crappy spot o'cyber real estate....but I am at number seven.......go figure...really, I would have thought that people that get many more hits than I do would have written "michael schiavo sucks"....especially in the last few days.
So OK, I am bored, cruising the 'sphere and not really feeling the desire to beat on moonbats and some random thoughts have flown through my head in the last few hours......like;
isn't Viagra simply a penis enlargement drug with a very short term effect, (no that was not a freudian thing)...
and I saw a commercial today for toilet paper while waiting for news of terri....and in it they showed how only four of the sheets of their brand soaked up the same amount of blue liquid as six sheets of the competitors brand...now I don't know about you, but I don't need a demonstration of TP soaking up liquid....if I am having to soak up liquid with TP either my son has spilled juice and that is the closest paper or something is seriously wrong and I am calling 911.....
so I think that plastic backed TP would be a good idea....less of a mental thing about making sure their is enough paper between your hand and...well anyway...that Idea may actually lead to even less people washing their hands after using the facilities....and you know what I hate?
I hate cheap TP....that kind you get in the heads at concerts and ballgames...you know the kind? It's on a roll that isn't round so it won't roll....(maybe they shouldn't call it a 'roll' of TP in these cases huh?)...and no matter how hard you try to get a longer piece of it you get exactly four square inches of TP because this stuff tears easier than wet tissue paper...and you need to start tearing it off as soon as you sit down because it takes about that long to get enough to use....if you start when you are done you're in there another 5 minutes.......
you know what else I hate? (WARNING****NON PC RANT***WARNING)
I hate handicapped drivers....I don't hate them personally of course.....I hate the way they drive....and not the folks with the handicap placards NOOO....the ones with the hanicap LICENSE PLATES......I don't know about where you are but out here in Cali. the people that have those plates CANNOT drive......they go too slow....the ride the line.....they sit forEVER at a green light and I sit back there and wonder if they can't see the light or maybe they are REALLY paranoid about someone running the opposing red.....I believe that here in Cali. you don't get a handicapped license plate for actually being handicapped...for those people the DMV gives out placards that hang on rearview mirrors.....I think that the people here that have those plates get them because during their driving test they terrified the tester so badly that not only is the tester afraid of failing them because of their bad driving but they are scared of them for some other reason....so they pass them and give them a special plate to warn the rest of us.......
Funny thing about it is that these folks don't drive like a pissed off aggressive person that you would think would be the kind of person to scare a DMV tester into giving them a license....that is what makes them so scary...they don't seem mean....but still they have a license when it is obvious from their driving that they shouldn't......
I guess this is one of those times that the phrase "watch out for the quiet ones" probably applies really well.....and if that is a true statement that you must "watch out for the quiet ones" then imagine how safe I actually am......
***UPDATE***
I am bored...ther are now 336 blogs or websites in the blogroll for terri...I think I signed up at number 70 someething if I remember my count correctly....so I count things sometimes.....a bit of OCD I am sure.....but I I ever go blind at least I know how many steps it is to my mailbox....(98)...not that it would do me any good, being blind I couldn't really read the mail.....hhhmmm...hadn't thought of that one...well, I guess I need a new reason for knowing how far it is to the mailbox huh?

I present for your education some politicking that has slipped under the radar and needs a bit of light shed on it.
This bill provides for the US to aid poor countries in building a better, safer and more reliable water infrastructure, which I admit sounds noble.
Read this:
(14) At the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the United States announced the Water for the Poor Initiative which committed the United States to provide $970,000,000 over 3 years to increase access to safe water and sanitation services, improve watershed management, and increase the productivity of water. During fiscal year 2004, the United States provided an estimated $817,000,000 in assistance to the Water for the Poor Initiative, including funds made available for reconstruction activities in Iraq, of which $388,000,000 was made available for safe drinking water and sanitation programs.
OK, so almost one billion dollars isn't really a big drop in our bucket these days, especially considering that illegal immigration costs well over 30 billion a year.
***sidenote***
(16) At the 2003 Summit of the Group of Eight in Evian, France, the members of the Group of Eight produced a plan entitled `Water: A G8 Action Plan'
Is it just me or is kinda funny in an odd way that a water bill was crafted in Evian?
***end sidenote***
But here is where it gets scary.
(18) The United Nations General Assembly Resolution 58/217 of February 9, 2004, proclaimed `the period from 2005 to 2015 the International Decade for Action, `Water for Life', to commence on World Water Day, 22 March 2005' for the purpose of increasing the focus of the international community on water-related issues at all levels and on the implementation of water-related programs and projects.
The UN is involved.
Anytime the Useless Nations get their grubby little hands in our pocket books we get it without so much as a kiss.
There is some good news in the bill......if you happen to own a multi-national company that deals in water systems, such as Seuz (french), or RWE-Themes or Violia.
`(4) ADDITIONAL CRITERIA- In making determinations of eligibility under this subsection, the President should give preferential consideration to projects sponsored by or significantly involving United States small businesses or cooperatives.
My advice? As an American I would but stock in the companies that deal in this stuff, so keep your eyes and ears open and watch for the companies that are going to vye for these contracts. American citizens can get rich while we bring water to the world. I like the sound of that idea.
But these companies that are going to vie for this kind of contract are most likely the companies that provide equipment to your local water company.
It goes on, way down at the bottom of the bill:
SEC. 6. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.
(a) IN GENERAL- There are authorized to be appropriated for each of the fiscal years 2006 through 2011 such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act and the amendments made by this Act.
(b) OTHER AMOUNTS- Amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in subsection (a) shall be in addition to the amounts otherwise available to carry out this Act and the amendments made by this Act.
In other words the money is legislated to be there.....but from where?
The bill also says:
SEC. 5. SAFE WATER STRATEGY.
(4) methods to mobilize and leverage the financial, technical, and managerial expertise of businesses, governments, nongovernmental, and civil society in the form of public-private alliances such as the Global Development Alliances of the Agency which encourage innovation and effective solutions for improving sustainable access to safe water and sanitation;
This is where it gets really wonky for me.
The whole "public-private" thing.
So far here is a brief round-up of private water company troubles here in the US.
It seems that Atlanta GA., New Orleans LA. and Stockton CA. have had some probems with their outsourcing of water problems, so this must be a bad thing to privatize these public resources that should be available for all, and since they should be available for all it definitly shouldn't be at the hands of some corporation that looks at a dwindling resource such as water with the same greed that oil barons of a century and a half ago eyed the black gold seeping out of the ground in Pennsylvania
After all, public ownership and control always make for the best and most efficient system right?
I mean really, what has a private company ever done to lower costs and get a product or resource to the people?
Right, just as I thought, absolu....huh? Well, yes, dear quick thinking reader, there is a certain efficiency in a profit motive...but this is water we're talking about here......it isn't like oil...I mean where would the incentive be to get water to people dependably and affordably for profit?
I mean really people come on here wake up and smell the coffee...coffee brewed with fresh clean water that literally runs from your faucet when you turn a handle. How can a water company ever survive in the free market?
Or any utility company for that matter?
Private ownership of public utilities????
What is this world coming to????
Next thing I will hear is that some god-awful private company is making and selling me electricity at some horrendously low price!!!
Private ownership never did anything good for anybody......just ask all those big multi-national corporations.

My niece is 17.
She speaks three languages.
She has our Grandmas middle name.
She has a black belt in tae kwon do.
She stands up for what she believes is right.
Case in point, an older brother of a troublesome classmate of my nieces' followed my niece onto the school bus one day, trying to pick a fight with her for standing up for another little girl that his little sister was picking on. It was a racial thing. I wish I could say it wasn't but the entire thing started with racial remarks.
My niece is mixed.
And I have never cared.
I fell in love with her the moment I saw her. She was born on New Years Day. My sister went into labor on New Years Eve and absolutely RUINED my party plans. I have never cared about that lost party...well not after I saw my niece.
Back to the story....the boy walked on the bus, three years older than my niece, and tries to pick a fight. She warned him to get off of the bus and leave her alone.
He made the mistake of poking her in the shoulder.
She dropped him...and almost got expelled. My sister went to the school to defend her daughter, and the boy that she dropped came walking into the office with his father. Now at this point you should know that my sister was in Sicily with her family because my brother in law is a career Navy man, and was just put up for Chief, but that is another tale....so this kid walks in with his dad, who had to get him from the hospital apparently, and once the dad (USMC) found out that he actually tried to start a fight with a thirteen year old girl he got even madder than he already was at his son for getting his ass kicked.
She didn't get expelled.
I have always been inordinately proud of my family members, and my niece makes it easier all the time. If she never did another thing I would still be prouder than words could express.
Now I have received word that she has been inducted into the National Honor Roll.
As is her humble, unassuming way, she didn't call me to tell me that. Good thing too, because I probably would have cried upon hearing the news
So if ever you fear for the future of our country, remember there are kids out there like my niece, kicking ass, taking names and doing it for all the "right" reasons.
Here's to you Tiffany Mae....a big hug and a kiss from your overly proud uncle that loves you more than I can say.
Rock On Baby!!!!!
***UPDATE***
I just found out that my niece has actually been in the honor society for four years and is in the who's who of highschool students this year. I am learning all kinds of stuff today, and she was inducted into the national JR. Honors society in 2000.

...and a man I can always count on when I am on a rant about the left is Charles Krauthammer.
Big Tip o'me Tam to long time gone.
Some bits from his article.
At his news conference on Wednesday, President Bush declined an invitation to claim vindication for his policy of spreading democracy in the Middle East. After two years of attacks on him as a historical illiterate pursuing the childish fantasy of Middle East democracy, he was entitled to claim a bit of credit. Yet he declined, partly out of modesty (as with Ronald Reagan, one of the secrets of his political success) and partly because he has learned the perils of declaring any mission accomplished.
Of course he did. Unlike most of those on the left with huge egos, (and inversely proportioned nether parts I suspect), those on the right do things because they are the right ting to do. They may not be the most popular thing to do, but ask any kid if they want that splinter dug out of their finger and they will say no, but we all know that even though it hurts, it needs to be done, and sometime doing the right thing hurts at first, but in the long run it is better for everyone involved.
We do not yet know, however, whether this initial flourishing of democracy will succeed. The Syrian and Iraqi Baathists, their jihadist allies, and the various regional autocrats are quite determined to suppress it. But we do know one thing: Those who claimed, with great certainty, that Arabs are an exception to the human tendency toward freedom, that they live in a stunted and distorted culture that makes them love their chains -- and that the notion the United States could help trigger a democratic revolution by militarily deposing their oppressors was a fantasy -- have been proved wrong.
I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful paragraph than that. I especially like the last part. "proved wrong"....that seems to be happening alot these day in teh world of the lefty socialist unrealist whiners doesn't it?
This amazing display has prompted a wave of soul-searching. When a Le Monde editorial titled "Arab Spring" acknowledges "the merit of George W. Bush," when the cover headline of London's The Independent is "Was Bush Right After All?" and when a column in Der Spiegel asks "Could George W. Bush Be Right?" you know that something radical has happened.
I will bet you two euros that those articles had alot of people in europe spitting mad, and probably about 49% of the folks here too.
The international left's concern for human rights turns out to be nothing more than a useful weapon for its anti-Americanism. Jeane Kirkpatrick pointed out this selective concern for the victims of U.S. allies (such as Chile) 25 years ago. After the Cold War, the hypocrisy continues. For which Arab people do European hearts burn? The Palestinians. Why? Because that permits the vilification of Israel -- an outpost of Western democracy and, even worse, a staunch U.S. ally. Championing suffering Iraqis, Syrians and Lebanese offers no such satisfaction. Hence, silence.
Until now. Now that the real Arab street has risen to claim rights that the West takes for granted, the left takes note. It is forced to acknowledge that those brutish Americans led by their simpleton cowboy might have been right. It has no choice. It is shamed. A Lebanese, amid a sea of a million other Lebanese, raises a placard reading "Thank you, George W. Bush," and all that Euro-pretense, moral and intellectual, collapses.
As I wrote here yesterday. The left is full of hateful people that should be very ashamed of themselves and rightly should beg those on the right and the rest of the world for forgiveness.
On the other side of that coin is naturally those of us on the "RIGHT".......and we are sooooo right in soooo many ways.......those of you on the right stand tall and stick out that chin knowing that Good is triumphing over evil...the forces that would see us destroyed are on the run regardless of their words, and all of you were a part of it.
God Bless each and everyone of you.

I see I am not the only self-abusing person out here....

***UPDATE***
We may all get to eat Sunday if this gets done. Any democrats that step up to oppose this should be considered enemies of the state and treasonous bastards.
As mentioned below I am on a hunger strike, (it's going well thanks for asking...did you know that your stomach can get rid of water and you will feel hungry again in seconds?) and I was pointed to the folks linked in the title.
Many thanks go to Superhawk for that link.
A quick note...these guys are adding in bread to their fasting......I have decided on water, (I need to take my meds) and in place of bread I will have beer, (it's bread in a bottle) and my beloved single malt scotch.
standard parting line: GreerFelosSchiavoAndTheDemsAllSUCK!!!!
and you thought the title of this post held the promise of something dirty....

Thirty hours I have gone without eating. I am slightly light headed, even moreso than usual, and my stomach hurts.
I can't imagine keeping this up until I drop and die.
I have been so tempted too.
At least I can drink water, (and scotch) and get up and move around to keep busy.
That is more than terri can do right now.
When I hear they are going to re-insert Terris' G Tube I will eat.
I don't expect them to actually let her starve to death.
There is too much attention on this case now.
BTW, Greer, felos and Michael all suck.
Did you notice if you put an "n" in Felos' name he becomes Felons?
Hopefully that is prophetic.

I liked it so much I brought it home with me and cleaned it up a bit, and now it is all shiny and fluffy and has big huge fangs of guilt.
Today, the democrats, doing everything in their power to aid and abet the murder of Terri Schindler, have shown their true selves.
They have shown our nation what they truly believe in, and it certainly goes against everything this great and proud country stands for in the world.
They support abortion and starving innocent people to death but rail against the system that puts evil murderers to a rightful and justly deserved death.
This is absurdity in its' purest form.
This is evil unmasked.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you todays democratic party.
The party that stands in any weather, sometimes miles from nowhere, at midnight, and protests when evil men are put to death.
The party that claims to stand for the least of us, the downtrodden, the weak, the helpless.
The party that stands in the way of saving an innocent life and screams "politics" as they block Congress from a noble attempt of great humanitarian justice.
The party that has as it's symbol, most fittingly, a jackass.
The left, today, more than any other day in our history, has shown how shallow and uncaring they are.
Any that call themselves democrats this day should hang their head in shame, knowing that they have truly joined the ranks of the evil in history, to proudly stand beside such vile figures as hitler, stalin, mao and pol pot.
Mark well this day. This is a day that will live in the minds of many people, not only here but from around the world. This is the day that the democrats said to the GOP, the American public and, indeed, the world "Fuck Terri Schiavo, we won't let you look like heroes."
This is the day that their shallow and vile thoughts were exposed for all to see. Laid bare for the world to view, only to have the world shy back in horror at the stark ugliness of the truth of the democrats.
Hang your head you bastards, you and your ilk are a dark stain on our great country, and indeed the world, and should this woman die from starvation, may you sleep well at night knowing that you have supported, aided and abetted the loss of Americas soul.

I hate it. I like winning. It is an integral part of the human condition, I believe, to want to win. It is a very animalistic drive to want to overcome, to triumph, to survive. It is one of the driving forces of being alive. The will to win...the will to survive.
It's one of the reasons I like being on the "right" side of things. The right side is the good side, and I am not saying here that the "left" side is evil but today it certainly seems that way. Good is supposed to win. It is how things are supposed to work, and if I didn't believe that then morals and ethics would have no place in this world and nothing would have any meaning.
Losing a game, or an election, or even a race is really no big deal in the grand scheme of things. But we CANNOT lose this fight for Terri. Losing this fight causes us to lose our humanity, for it is not only the fight that is lost, but Terris' life. You can always play another game, run in another election or race another day, but this loss is a loss of life, and that cannot be replaced.

URGENT ACTION TO CONTACT: As part of the House adjournment resolution, congress must agree to the Senate’s HABEAS CORPUS bill to save Terri.
From a reliable source:
The House (Federal) has left for the night, but they have not adjourned for recess, as was originally thought. There must be a resolution tomorrow morning, first thing to adjourn.
House leaders, listed below, can make a condition of adjournment the
approval of the Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act (Habeas Corpus) a requirement.
We know as little about these things as anyone possibly could, but we’ve been directed to ask you that you please flood the following with emails, phone calls or faxes to insist on these conditions prior to the House adjournment.
Remember, both chambers have already approved, in some form, the
Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act. This is a very small step for them to finalize the measure before they recess and there is no time left for our representatives to squander.
Please make contact and encourage others to.

And the life in question is Terri Schindlers (schiavo).
Late last night the House, (you know some of those elected guys up in DC?) passed the Sensenbrenner/Weldon 'Protection of Incapacitated Persons Act of 2005'.
This bill will protect Terri from being starved to death.
There is more to be done. Call your Senators, (you have two of them, just like everyone else) at (202)-224-3121 and urge them to vote for the Sensenbrenner/Weldon bill which passed unanimously Wednesday night.
That number again is
(202)-224-3121
CALL NOW!!!
They're open. It's EST where they're at.
Something else you can do. Read the article linked in the title and call the fellows that wrote this bill up.
I'm about to do just that.
Then I am going to sit here and wonder if Greasy Greer will have the balls, knowing this law is passed friday morning, (it WILL be signed into law friday morning latest by W....just watch) to let his accomplice Murderin' Mikey pull Terris' tube....
I'll bet not.

A tale full of questions. A tale of foiled terrorists. A tale of the french and their (occcassionally) wonderful justice system.
Of course the questions I bring up will most likely be hotly contested and outright attacked by those sympathetic to the lilypad and maybe even those that reside there, but we will bomb that bridge when we fly over it.
Some selected bits from this story. Along with my comments.
PARIS - A French court convicted six men Tuesday in an alleged plot inspired by al-Qaida to send a suicide bomber into the U.S. Embassy in Paris, closing a six-week trial that shed light on the spread of Islamic radicals in Europe.
Now did we see this coming or what? Will you folks on the other side of the pond please listen to us and see the danger you are in now? Or will you continue or appeasing ways hoping that these guys will leave you alone. I know, you're gonna point out that the target was the American embassy. Do you think that no french people work there? Or do you think that they get what they deserve for working for the evil Americans?
All six were convicted of "criminal association in relation with a terrorist enterprise," a charge commonly used in terrorism cases in France that, because of its sweeping nature, can facilitate conviction.
Hhhmmm..."criminal association in relation with a terrorist enterprise"...sounds like a sweeping charge to me, as if anything you wanted to make stick could, even something as simple as being related to a terrorist.
"Proof, we have none. There are no documents, no conversation," said Beghal's lawyer, Jean-Alain Michel. He denounced the trial as a "judicial parody."
Where is all that peaceful french outrage? They sure bitch loudly enough about Gitmo, but now the french are jailing terrorist scum without "documents" or even "conversation". Sounds like a railroading to me.
However, the prosecution argued that Beghal was part of a web of Islamic militants stretching across five European countries with the center of gravity in Afghanistan.
See? At least some of the french authorities are getting it. They are recognizing how widespread the threat is, and acting on it. I daresay that this may be one of the reasons that france did send soldiers to Afghanistan, as they realized the need, given the next bit.
The investigation was opened Sept. 10, 2001, a day before the terror attacks on the United States, and revealed what amounts to a new generation of Islamic militants in France, distinct from Algerian Islamic insurgents responsible for deadly Paris bombings in the mid-1990s.
Maybe now the french will realize what America realized on 9-11 and the Dutch realized after Theo Van Gogh was brutally murdered in the street, namely that there can be no quarter with these dogs, they are rabid and must be killed. Actually now that the french have convicted these guys they had better watch out.....these guys hate having their cohorts locked up.
"This affair is revelatory of a Europeanization of terror groups," prosecutor Christophe Teissier said in his six-hour closing arguments.
Something we have been saying for awhile now.
In a separate case, involving support for Muslim Chechen rebels, police Tuesday arrested two suspects for a reported plan to attack Russian targets in France, judicial officials said.
Does anyone remember how the russians handled these guys in Afghanistan? They kidnapped them and killed them, mutilating their bodies in embarrassing ways and tossed them on the streets. How do you think they will handle them now? Do you think perhaps the russians are more "enlightened" these days and will hunt them down and arrest them? Don't bet your rubles on that.
Some 20 people are under investigation in the Chechen case, most arrested in late 2002. The new arrests were made in Grenoble and the Lyon suburb of Venissieux, home to four members of a single family implicated in the plot, the officials said.
They are living amongst you. Heed that warning. Or not. If you don't we won't want to hear you crying about it ok?
The Paris trial largely hinged on a confession by Beghal to authorities in the United Arab Emirates after his July 2001 arrest. However, he retracted the confession after his extradition to France in September 2001, and testified that it had been extracted through torture that included the insertion of instruments like knitting needles into his genitals.
I want to know who (allegedly) tortured him? Maybe they called in the US military eh?
The French probe revealed a web of suspect relations that included Abu Qatada, the London-based radical Muslim cleric described by British officials as Osama bin Laden's "spiritual ambassador in Europe."
Why is this guy still walking around free? Why is he NOT jailed? Why is he even alive?
Wake up frenchy...they are among you, plotting against freedom and they aren't gonna stop with us. You too are an enemy of islam, simply because you aren't of them.
Now who is the racist eh?
Something we have been saying for awhile now.

...if you could listen live to a right leaning internet talk show?
First off thanks for clicking that ad....how about that Blogmachine huh? That is a great little add-on for any blog, and even if you hate my radio idea at least look into getting one for your blog...you even get to help design your own little flash sign customized for your blog using your idea....and now back to our show...
One that you could call into live?
How about if that talk show not only discussed events of the day from a rightwing perspective, but also highlighted bloggers?
An internet radio station that was unconstrained by the normal limitations of regular radio, such as broadcasting distance, advertising considerations that may censor content and, at the moment, FCC considerations?
What would you say to an internet radio station like that?
Would you like that?
And what if it had a musical bent dealing with only unsigned, independent artists, with an emphasis on something besides hip-hop, pop and other mainstream radio?
Sound good to you?
It sure does to me.
I firmly believe that God places you where you need to be, when you need to be there, and one simply must be able to recognize the door when it gets flung open in front of you so you can run through and take advantage of what is in that room.
I also believe that God puts us here to help each other.
I have been in discussions with the owner of xradio.biz, which is linked in the title.
They deal with indy music, and are branching out into other genres. I was approached by one of their agents who happens to be a fellow I know. He knows that I have alot of musician friends that just need an outlet, and thought I would like to do a show focusing on their music.
I have a better idea. I want to do an internet radio talk show, with an outlook from the right side of the street.
And I need your help.
It will take, with location, (industrial unit) equipment and training plus support, (provided by enexes.com, the parent company of xradio.biz), about 40,000 dollars to start this station.
That will cover costs for awhile.
I get between 50 and 60 hits a day, but there are millions of surfers out there.
I want to spread the word about this idea. I want everybody to donate a dollar. One dollar. That isn't alot of money for a person to donate, but added up it puts us on the road to having an internet radio station that you can listen to at home or at work, one that will cover the issues mainstream radio won't cover. An internet radio station, streaming live to you wherever you may be in the world, that can give much needed attention to issues that guys like Limbaugh, Savage, Boortz, and others can't comment on through time constraints or advertiser consideration.
Imagine Terri's fight with that much more weight behind it. Imagine the issues facing bloggers today (possible restrictions on our free speech) being given not only a voice on our blogs via the written word, but an actual live voice, bringing up-to-the-moment information through the speakers of, not only your computer, but computers around the world.
Think about it.
Then give me a dollar.
There is a donation button higher up in the sidebar...thanks for your support.

One of the stat trackers I use is site meter. Recently sitemeter started running ads when I am checking stats. I PAY for this service, and I sent them an email asking about this development. So far no response. I am sooooo not happy.
I may change from site meter altogether. Besides, they don't seem to offer a "Unique Hit" service.
