I heard this today and immediately thought to myself, "Good, does that mean you aren't a citizen anymore and the constitutional protections afforded citizens no longer apply to you? And if that is so may I have you deported? To france mayhaps?"

    Just a thought I had.

Hey I saw your comment on Tazmedic's blog and thought I'd visit your site. Great blog! I think this post of yours says it all..I agree that France is a darn good place for these...

I'm torn about this, since I didn't consider Clinton my president. The day after he was elected, I put in my retirement papers and left the Air Force after 24 years. I told my sons not to enlist. That ended an unbroken chain of military service that went back in my family to World War I. It also meant a loss of tens of thousands of dollars in retirement pay, since I didn't stay in a full 30 years. But I just could not serve a man who was my moral inferior. It broke my heart.

It is good that we can all feel this way and still be a great nation.

Lone Ranger...I hope I can I do some act as grand as you for something I believe in some day as you did...I am sure my statement is no consolation for the benefits you have given up but you do not know how rare you are for doing what you did. That was no small gesture for someone like you who loved their work/service. Thanks for sharing. You have inspired me.
