To the Dutch I say, Welcome to the new world order. A world where common sense and national priorites should triumph. In a country where democracy reigns, i.e. where the majority of voters decide where the country is headed and what laws to enact in that country, in other words its' culture, radical islam can be a dangerous thing. Witness Theo van Gogh. The Dutch have it correct. Stop the immigration of non-western people and deport the ones that are causing trouble.
I know to some that may sound racist, however, the vast majority of radical islamic thinking does not come from the "west", it comes from the "east". Moderate islam can be a peaceful religion with its' adherents joining together with 'westerners' to create a prosperous and thriving society. Before we welcome moderates though I must caution you that the moderates will not help weed out the radical factions, and until they do they must be sent packing also. Once they do help identify the radicals and try to make the world a better and safer place for freedom then I think teh moderates should be welcomed in with open arms.
But radical islam needs to be wiped out.

it's a very simple idea about democracy just to vote each four years... and that's all? No, of course not, only for the ones who think about state like a nightwatcher. Come on, read Rosseau, Kant or maybe Thoreau, and get involved!

Hey, cool, if it is your country, then your immigration policies can be what you want. But don't you find it hypocritical to advocate serious immigration control to non Westerners while invading these same non Western countries? Apparently not.
Bruno...welcome and glad you finally came by. Why no, I don't believe that advocating the cessation of immigration by a certain group of people and invading their country to stop that very activity is hypocritical at all.
At least not in this instance. I am sure there are situations that would make me feel differently but none come to mind, and erring on the side of caution I have tempered my comment.
Radical Islam must be stopped. There's no two ways about it. If we were to surrender ground now, and give in to whatever it is that the terrorist group of the day wanted then pretty soon another group would come along and so on and so on.
You see what I am getting at? We need to root this evil out wherever it is, finding these guys down to the last man, and set them straight or kill them. If we let this problem fester then pretty soon it will be a war of us vs. them. Did you ever notice that china doesn't have this problem? Don't say it is because they have things right. They don't. They simply have a very less free society and arab based radical islamic terrorists would have a difficult time moving around freely in china.
At least in that respect china may have something....crack down on religions and keep out the terrorists.
