This comes from Nickie, so a big tip o' me Tam, (that's a Scottish hat Nickie), goes to him for this story.

"Italy, EU insist Parmesan cheese must be Parma-made"

That's right...the idiots in the EU are insisting, along with the cheese police in Italy, that a certain kind of cheese only be called "parmesan" if it actually comes from Parma Italy.

I won't rant about this, as I have already mentioned before that mexico will sue you if you make tequila outside of mexico and call it tequila, and champagne can only be called that if it comes from the champagne region in france, (otherwise it must be called "sparkling wine, BY LAW...DAMNED FROGS) and soon (I'll wager)you will only be able to call something a "sandwich" if it is actually made in Sandwich, England.

Yo know what I wanna do?

I wanna make a CHAMPAGNE TEQUILA with PARMESAN undertones.....I know it sounds sick, but how else to fit in all the names the cUntries are whining about these days?

Unless of course I find some way to make it into a sandwich.
