When the first Kennedy of the season is spotted at rehab......
Ninety one miles southeast of Los Angeles is a bustling little town by the name of Temecula. Blessed with a perfect micro-climate for growing grapes, it has a thriving wine industry, and caters to tourists and the more well to do citizen.

It is not cheap to live there, being somewhat upscale, and as we all know, in a town that caters to tourists, image is what matters.

But there is something rotten in Temecula.

Temecula sits just 70 miles north of Mexico, and the flood of illegals has been tremendous for many years, and of course, since there are wineries (which one must remember bring in mucho dinero in taxes and require laborers) there are plenty of illegals that work at those wineries.

Those illegals have children. Don't ask me how many kids in the schools are the children of illegals, because I don't have the numbers, but if other anecdotal evidence holds true, then statistically speaking, it is probably a very high number.

Apparently a few kids at Temecula Valley High School, located at 31555 Rancho Vista Rd. Temecula CA 92592 were planning to have a protest later today, May 5th 2006.

Against illegal immigration or for secure borders, I am still not sure, but I do know this; They asked Save Our State dot org for help.

The original threads I found regarding this can be found here and here, with the latest thread accessible here.

I must warn you. Reading these threads will make you angry.

As I gather, in a nutshell, the plans swelled beyond what these kids were expecting. I suspect that word got out to some groups that are less than enthusiastic about the borders being secured and that threats have been made. The young men on the SOS boards that seemed to have started this whole thing, Sean and Darren, are certain that if a crowd forms, and a riot ensues, THEY WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE and ARRESTED!!!!

Reading these threads broke my heart. To see the youth of our country bullied by their school and a budding interest in the Rights, Freedoms and Responsibilities that made this country great cut down by threatening people with jail for exercising their first amendment rights to peaceably assemble is perhaps the most disheartening thing I have ever had the utter displeasure of witnessing.

If this is a problem with the gangs in the schools (and the area is rife with them, from MS-13 to skinhead gangs) then I understand why the schools fears for the safety of these students so much that they threaten them with jail for planning a peaceful, LEGAL protest.

The schools know that they cannot protect their students from the radicalized punks that have invaded our schools. Anyone want to wager whether this school has a "MeCHA club?" The children of illegal immigrants, especially of the type that adhere to the beliefs of the ultra-racist latino supremacy group MeCHA would have no problem acting like the little thugs they are, and would lie in wait for days, maybe even weeks, to exact the only kind of revenge little thugs know, a violent one.

There is still a tentative plan (from what I understand at this writing) to head on down there and wave a few flags. I know I will be heading down, but first I am going to call the principal at:
    (951) 695-7300

His name is Scott Schaufele, and then I may even call the superintendent, Carol A. Leighty at:
    951.676.2661

And I am going to ask them why it seems that it is ok for a someone to threaten an American Citizen with arrest for exercising a RIGHT.

Why don't you give 'em a call too, and ask them if they feel OK with stomping on a fundamental right and what that is teaching the students? Then again, with the indoctrination in the government schools today, they probably feel that whatever it takes to make good little automatons that fear authority is simply good policy.

As for me, I think I will make it clear that if one of these kids were my kid, their threats wouldn't work, because I know my rights, and as vociferously as I defend them, I feel even more strident about my childs rights, for this is the way they learn, and if these young men learn nothing else tomorrow, they must learn that this is still the United States of AMERICA, and the First Amendment applies to all of us, and one should never back down from wrongly wielded authority.

Go on...call that principal and superintendent. We can trade notes tonight about how much they stammered when a Red Blooded Patriot stands up to their little game and demands answers. Post your answers in the comments....let's see if we can get these Red Diaper Doper Baby thugs that are ruining (not running) our schools to stammer out a few lies and excuses.

    Sounds fun, doesn't it?
Linked in the title is your laugh of the day.

It is the story of a man that was an executive at a heart disease charitable foundation who managed to embezzle, over the course of two years, almost a quarter of a million dollars.

What, one may ask, would this man have embezzeled the money want to do with all that hard begged dough?

Why, pay a professional dominatrix to beat the tar outta him, that's what.

Abraham Alexander, an accounts payable executive at the Manhattan Cardiovascular Research Foundation, admitted to stealing $237,162 and spending most of it on services provided by a Columbus, Ohio-based dominatrix called Lady Sage

He has now been sentenced to two to six years.

That is two to six years of absolutely free beatings....well, not free, but rather beatings on the taxpayers dime. If you figure that a quarter of a million is about two years worth of beatings, he is gonna save anywhere from a quarter of a million to one and a half million dollars while he is locked up.

I wonder if Lady Sage will come by and visit Mr. Alexander?

    One can always hope.

Ruling on a 15-year-old ACLU case, a federal judge today ordered the city of San Diego to remove a mountain-top cross within 90 days or face a fine of $5,000 a day.

U.S. District Judge Gordon Thompson said, "It is now time, and perhaps long overdue, for this court to enforce its initial permanent injunction forbidding the presence of the Mount Soledad cross on city property," the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

Thompson ruled in 1991 the Mount Soledad cross violates the so-called "separation of church and state" but the case has remained in courts and become an issue of public policy for more than a decade.

ACLU lawyer James McElroy believes San Diego officials finally will give up their fight.

"I don't think the city has its heart in taking more action," he said, according to the paper.

A city lawyer argued during the hour-long court hearing today that citizens had voted for transfer of the land under the cross.

Proposition A, passed by 75 percent in July, called for the city to donate the cross to the federal government as the centerpiece of a veterans memorial.

The ballot initiative came about after the city refused to donate the cross and memorial to the federal government. A group called San Diegans for the Mount Soledad National War Memorial took just 23 days to gather 105,000 signatures.

In a ruling now on appeal, however, a Superior Court judge found the transfer unconstitutional.

The Union-Tribune said the group behind the public vote on transfer likely will appeal Thompson's decision.

The 29-foot cross has stood on Mount Soledad as the center of a war memorial on city land since 1954. The first cross on the site was built in 1913.

A bill authorizing the federal government to take over the memorial was authored by Republican U.S. Reps. Duncan Hunter and Randy Cunningham. President Bush signed the bill into law in December.

The ACLU are constantly seeking to censor America's history. In my interview with former ACLU lawyer, Rees Lloyd, it was described to me with clarity.

    Lloyd said:
The ACLU has become a fanatical anti-faith Taliban of American religious secularism.”
“The ACLU is involved in the secular cleansing of our history. This is not just a fight about free exercise, but about the protection of our American history. The ACLU want to deny America the knowledge of their Christian heritage.”

Or, as Alan Sears says: The ACLU is America's number one religious censor.

The ACLU and the judicial activists are destroying our heritage, and they are doing it with our tax dollars. Join us, and the American Legion to urge Congress to put a stop to this. Support Congressman Hostettler's legislation to stop taxpayer funding of the ACLU.

Sign the Petition To Stop Taxpayer Funding of the ACLU.

    Hello everyone,

I am going to keep this short and sweet, because I believe that many of you are probably spending your days learning Spanish and don't really have to time to deal with your constituents.

You remember your constituents don't you?

Those people that you ask to vote for you, ask to donate money to you and tax like mad because you think that we are all just a bunch of cash-spewing automatons that vote for the slickest jabbering cretin that can get airtime and a parties blessing?

    That's us.

Like I said, I'll keep it short so you can get back to learning Spanish so that you will be able to campaign to all of your new constituents during the next election.....you know, all of those criminal aliens that you are about to hand amnesty to? Yeah...those folks.

I just wanted to let you know that damn near every American Citizen I have spoken with, both liberal and conservative, thinks the same thing:

    You have let us down.

    WE are the people whose votes you should worry about;

    WE are the people that put you where you are;

    and

WE are the people that can remove you.

You are pandering to a small but vocal force in this country, and the vast majority of your countrymen are angry, demand that you do NOT pass any kind of an amnesty, and promise you this:

    Today we talk;

    Tomorrow WE VOTE!!!!

There have been some interesting new developments in the case of the Americans at Pulacharke. The first and the most important one is–that Ed Caraballo was released and walked out of Pulacharke on Sunday afternoon at about 3:00 pm. He went directly to the airport and was sent home. Today, he is here in the United States and is home. So there is one small victory here; one of the Americans was set free.

Another interesting development in this weird saga is the fact that Tolo TV (Afghan News) and many other reports out of Southeast Asia reported that Jack and Brent were also released, which is not the case. They had to back pedal a little bit, because they fully expected Jack and Brent to walk out of Pulacharke at the same time that Ed did. That didn’t happen.

Now I’m not sure of the specifics of the agreement under which Ed left Pulacharke, because I don’t trust the media to tell the truth. Already I’ve noticed some of the obvious spin in the media with regard to their reporting of Ed’s release.

Here are just a few examples.

He said he was freed two months early under a decree issued by the Afghan government for prisoners with less than 12 months left on their sentences.

That’s quite an interesting sentence, because the fact is…the decree issued by the Afghan government for ‘amnesty’ involves terrible crimes, none of which were the crimes that Ed was charged with. In addition, Ed had a longer time to serve even with his reduced sentence than a mere 12 months. So something is quite wrong with this reporting.

Let’s take a look at another one.

He has consistently denied being an active member of Idema’s group and said he believed he was chronicling a legitimate counterterrorism operation when he was arrested.

This is cleverly written, insinuating that Jack’s operation was not legitimate. Apparently people are depending upon what. The denials coming out of Washington, or the lies of known terrorists or Taliban-lovers like Karzai who is releasing and “forgiving” about 200 of them per month? And people wonder why we’re having trouble with the Taliban again. Puhleez.

Parliament signed a release order for all of the members of Task Force Saber, but Karzai required that Jack sign a similar Amnesty agreement as they had offered him three times previously. Jack refused. Then Parliament decided to just release them on Mujahadeen Day (April 28th), the day of Afghan Holy Warriors. The US Embassy promptly stepped in and started lodging “informal” objections to a declaration of innocence, claiming they are all ‘guilty’. Then the Ministry of Justice ordered them all released Sunday morning.

So far it is only confirmed that Caraballo left, and it is confirmed he is home now in the United States.

For those that say they were “convicted” in a “court of law,” just respond with this:

    • No sworn witnesses,
    • no evidence presented,
    • only newspapers articles used as evidence against them,
    • no cross-examination,
    • a trial which was barely translated with always incorrect translation,
    • the defense statement was stopped after ten minutes,
    • both defense attorneys were threatened with arrest if they tried to present evidence of actual innocence or complain about the lack of legal rights,
    • Afghan lawyers for Bennett and Banderas were threatened with arrest and death if they attempted to defend their clients,
    • and only one person in the trial gave a statement under oath (on the Koran), and that was Jack Idema.

And lawyers against Idema in US civil cases are saying they were “convicted by a fair trial”. HA!

Anybody read the applicable Afghan law lately? Well here it is!

    Afghan Laws:

RIGHT TO HAVE AN ATTORNEY PRESENT WHEN BEING QUESTIONED.

Att. 38 Interim Criminal Code for Courts (Defence Counsel Presence)

    1. The defence counsel has the right to be present at all times during the interrogation of the suspect.

    2. The suspect and the defence counsel have the right to be present during searches, confrontations, line-up procedures and expert examinations as well as during the trial.

    3. In the investigation phase the Saranwal and the judicial police shall notify the suspect and his defence counsel of searches, confrontations, line-up procedures and expert examinations in order to allow them to be present. This duty can be waived only when there is an urgent need to conduct the said operations, which is defined as when it is a flrgrante delicto crime or there is a fear of the loss of evidential facts.

This most certainly was denied them, because their attorneys didn’t show up until mid-August and they were detained on July 6.

RIGHT TO ABSTAIN FROM MAKING INCRIMINATING STATEMENTS.

Art. 30 Afghan Constitution (Chatper 2, Art. 9) para. 21: Confession to a crime is: a voluntary confession before an authorised court by an accused in a sound state of mind; Art. 5 Interim Criminal Code for Courts (Suspect and Accused):

    Art. 30 Afghan Constitution (Chatper 2, Art. 9) para 6. The suspect and the accused have the right to abstain from making any statement even when they are questioned by the relevant police or judicial authorities;

They were tortured in order to extract self-incriminating statements, so this was denied them, also.

    RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT.

    7. The police, the Saranwal and the Court are duty bound to clearly inform the suspect and the accused before interrogation and at the time of arrest about his or her right to remain silent, right to representation at all times by defense counsel, and right to be present during searches, line-ups, expert examinations and trial;

    Art. 53 Interim Criminal Code for Courts, Item 3g: g. The accused can testify if he does not avail himself of the right to remain silent and the accused or his defense counsel can ask questions to the witnesses and the experts;

This was denied them, ask anyone who listened to Ezmerai’s screams on the streets of Kabul as he was being electrocuted.

    RIGHT TO COUNSEL.

Art. 31 Afghan Constitution (Chapter 2, Art. 10) para. 1: Every person upon arrest can seek an advocate to defend his rights or to defend his case for which he is accused under the law. para. 2: the accusation and to be summoned to the court within the limits determined by law. para. 3: In criminal cases, the state shall appoint an advocate for a destitute.

    Art. 11 Law on the Structure and Competencies of Courts: Every person upon arrest has the right to appoint a defence counsel to defend himself in regard of the accusation and evidence against him. In criminal cases a defense counsel shall be appoint3ed for destitute persons according to the provision on law;

Bennett’s attorney was threatened to be killed if she went ahead and represented him; etc.

    RIGHT TO DEFENDANT/ATTORNEY CONFIDENTIALITY.

Art. 31 Afghan Constitution (Chatper 2, Art. 10) para. 4: The confidentiality of oral, written or telephonic communications between an advocate and his accused client are immune from invasion.

This one is a laugh, since the mail embargo, etc..

RIGHT TO HAVE COUNSEL APPOINTED IF UNABLE TO PAY.

Art 19 Interim Criminal for Courts (Legal Aid) 1. The suspect or the accused financiallly unable to appoint a defense attorney is entitled to have a free defence attorney appointed for him or her in the following manner: a. The investigatin Saranwal or the Court adjudicating the case, on the petition of the person, appoints a defence attorney for the destitute person from amongst the lawyers officially permitted to wok as defence attorney. b. The person for whom an attorney has been appointed reserves the right not to accept the appointed defence attorney and to defend himself in person. c. The fees of the aforesaid attorney shall be paid from the State budget and its extenet shall be fixed by regulation.

RIGHT TO HAVE IMPROPERLY COLLECTED TESTIMONY OR EVIDENCE INVALIDATED.

    Article 29 of Afghan Constitution, Para. 1: Any statement, testimony, or confession obtained form an accused or of another person by means of compulsion, is invalid; para 2: Confession to a crime is: a voluntary confession before an authorized court by an accused in a sound state of mind; Interim Criminal Code for Courts, article 5: Their (Suspect and Accused) statements shall be made in condition of absolute moral freedom;

    This didn’t happen…

RIGHT TO LAWFUL HANDLING AND COLLECTION OF EVIDENCE.

    Art. 7 Interim Criminal Code for Courts; The evidence which has been collected without respect of the legal requirements indicated in the law is considered invalid, and the Court cannot base its judgment on it; Art. 30 Afghan Constitution (Chapter 2, Art. 9) para. 1: Any statement, testimony, or confession obtained from an accused or of another person by means of compulsion, is invalid;

The evidence was stolen from the evidence room and at one point, part of it was returned -destroyed and edited–in front of the MSM and the court, yet nobody reported a word of this.

RIGHT TO TIMELY NOTIFICATION OF CHARGES.

    Art 42. Interim Criminal Code for Courts (Preparation of the Trial) 2. The deed concerning the commencement of trial shall fcontain the name of the accused and the indication of the alleged crime with its factual circumstances in reference to the related law provisions and shall be served in the accused and his defence counsel; the victim and the Saranwal at least five days in advance;

Perhaps the charges were told to them when they were playing ‘dance with the scorpion’.

    RIGHT TO ACCESS EVIDENCE.

Art 43. Interim Criminal Code for Courts (Access of the Accused to the Findings of the Investigation) 1. The accused and his defence counsel are eneitled to examine the documents contained int he file mentioned in the last paragraph of article 39 (act of indictment, file containing all the deeds formed during the investigations) and the objects under seizure.

Again, this one is a joke considering the house in Kabul was completely cleared out of computers, tapes, and film that could have been used as evidence to support their defense.

RIGHT TO BE PRESENT AT ALL CASE HEARINGS.

Art. 53 Interim Criminal Code for Courts (Conduct of the Hearing) Item 2. The accused and his defence counsel have the right to be present.

    3. The Court proceedings are conducted according to following order; a. At the opening of the hearing the Court reads out the act of indictment; (…) g. The accused can testify if he does not avail himself to the right to remain silent and the accused or his defence counsel can ask questions to the witnesses and experts; i. The primary Saranwal and the defence lawyer can ask questions of the accused.

    Didn’t happen.

RIGHT TO ADEQUATE TIME TO PREPARE DEFENCE.

Art. 56 Interim Criminal Code for Courts (Concurrent Crimes and Circumstances) 1. If from the deeds of the investigations or during the trial it results that there are alleged additional crimes and/or facts contributing as aggravating circumstances which have not been incluced in the act of indictment, the Court, at the request of the Primary Saranwal, makes the related accusation to the accused and/or to his defence counsel, when present, giving them adequate time to prepare the defence.

Didn’t happen…they were scrambling to put their case together when their evidence was stolen, and the lawyers showed up over a month after their arrest.

    RIGHT TO CALL WITNESSES.

Art 51 Interim Code for Courts (Admission of Witnesses and Experts) 1. The Primary Saranwal submits to the Court the list of the witnesses and experts he wants to be heard together with the act of indictment, indicating the reasons of the relevance of their testimony and exams. 2. The accused and/or his defence counsel have the right to present their own lists of witnesses and experts indicating the reasons of the relevance of their testimony and exams. 3. The Court can exclude those witnesses or experts that in its view do not appear material for the adjudication of the case.

    Weren’t allowed to call witnesses.

RIGHT TO BE PRESENT DURING DEPOSITIONS.

Art. 55 Interim Criminal Coce for Courts (Evidentiary Value of Investigative Activities)

    1. The reocrs of the testimonies of the witnesses as well as of the expert exam, collected during the investigative phase, can have the value of evidence as basis for the decision only if it results that the accused and/or his defence counsel were present during the operations and were in a position to raise questions and make objections.

    2. Otherwise the related deeds have the sole value of clues.

RIGHT TO CONFRONT AND QUESTION ACCUSORS.

    Art 14 International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights: 3. In the determination of any criminal charge against him, everyone shall be entitled to the following minimum guarantees, in full equality: (e) To examine, or have examined, the witnesses against him and to obtain the attendance and examination of witnesses on his behalf under the same conditions as witnesses against him;

Art 31 Afghan Constitution (Chapter 2, Art 10) para. 2: The accused upon arrest has the right to be informed of the attributed accusation and to be summoned to the court within the limits determined by law.

    RIGHT TO HAVE ADEQUATE TRANSLATIONS.

Art 135 Afghan Constitution (Chapter 7, Art. 20): If parties involved in a case do not know the language in which the trial is conducted, they have the right to understand the material and documents related to the case through an interpreter and the right to speak in their mother language in the court.

Art 20 Interim Criminal Code for Courts (Interpreter) 1. The suspect or the accused who does not know the language used during the investigations and the trials or who is deaf, dumb or deaf and dumb shall be given an interpreter for, at least, explaining to him the charge and the indictment and for assisting him during the interrogations and confrontations. Art 14 International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights

    3. In the determination of any criminal charge against him, everyone shall be entitled to the following minimum guarantees, in full equality: a. To be informed promptly and in detail in a language which he understands of the nature and cause of the cahrge against him; f. To have the free assistance of an interpreter if he cannot understand or speak the language used in court;

And that is AFGHAN LAW. Should I continue with the Department of State’s Foreign Affairs Manual and the Policy Defining FAM as the documentary and evidentiary basis for all State Department operations? Perhaps I will, in another post, for simpletons like Kathryn Cramer, who in my opinion, doesn’t take a ‘deep dive’ on anything and would prefer instead the Dr. Suess version.

Clearly if you have any of this documentation sitting in front of you and have knowledge of what happened in this case (like a lot of the journalists who had front row seats and paid to see the court documents when that privilege was denied the defense), you would know that policy, procedure and law (Afghan and American and International) were completely thrown out the window in the case of Jack Idema and the other two Americans, Brent Bennett and Ed Caraballo. So if that is the case, then under what Afghan law were they declared guilty when the evidence was stolen, they didn’t have representation until mid-August, and were immediately tortured upon their ‘arrest’–and they had a soviet interpreter and didn’t understand what was going on half the time, the interpreter was intentionally mis-interpreting what was being said and interjecting his own bias into the proceedings, and the sitting judges were members of the Taliban–ideological brothers to the terrorists the Americans supposedly tortured– that were set free and who later participated in a bombing at Bagram AFB?

None of the terrorists who claimed they were ‘hung from the ceiling’ in the ‘basement’ - ever swore on the Koran, and any muslim knows that means they were lying.

And here’s more proof of that:

Actually, Cao, you might be the first person to be able to wade through the bullshit and publish the facts. They were terrorists, they got caught, Idema caught them, and then they lied. Like, here’s a good one: the terrorists were supposed to be hanging upside down in a basement. Problem was there was no basement in the house, I know, I sent a team there to photograph it. Nor has ONE piece of evidence ever been shown against them- Just anonymous sources who have all either dissapeared or been identified, and now fired.

Good job, keep it up, and never let them see you sweat.

So for the people who are stupid enough to say something like “The Superpatriots were convicted under Afghan law…” Puhleez. Stick a sock in it.

We will continue to blog about this until their release, and I have some definite questions to ask the American government and the people involved, how this could have ever have happened to Americans in a foreign country to begin with.

The most important thing we should push for is a CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION.

So what can we do? Well, anyone reading this with their own blog can sign up for the weekly Free Jack Idema Blogburst by emailing Cao or Rottweiler Puppy for details. I’d urge everyone to do this, as we’re still terribly short on takers. If you want to know more about the story, Cao’s Blog has a large section devoted to Jack Idema. There’s also a timeline here, and, of course, a huge amount of information is available over at SuperPatriots, without whose work none of us would have learned about Jack’s story.

My, wasn't that a big barrel of fun?

All that marching, and demanding, and threatening, and cajoling....but what did you accomplish today?

The streets were still packed with people out working, the DMV was packed to the gills (I know...I went by there), the stores were open, and the economy clicked away like always...only my local Jack in the Box wasn't open, and the only people that were hurt by that were the whiny little punk ass kids that took the day off for "la revolucion", and lost themselves a day of pay.

Your marches in our streets simply made our case for us, and it allowed us to get the word out that you are liars and thieves, and that this issue is about people obeying the law.....we aren't taking any rights away from any one by demanding that people follow the law....THAT is what a society DOES....

But thank you for marching and proving our point.....I can't wait to see what kind of reaction your march on DC elicits....

Did you know that I heard a blurb on the news that today taxpayers in California posted taxes that were well above what was expected?

I will have more on that later, but the point is that on the very day you march to close down our (that is "our" as in yours and mine) economy, record tax receipts are reported....

That is called "irony", and it is a word that you should look up, because it is also ironic that the very thing you are marching for is something that you already have if you belong here, and is something you need to EARN by coming here LEGALLY if you don't belong here, and the irony is in the fact that the louder you make demands, the madder the citizens of America get, and the sooner you will be sent packing to where you started out from, and if you whine loudly enough, we will take away your ability to even come back for a legal try, because AMERICA HATES A WHINER!!!!!

We don't need any more whiners....we have Streisand.....
We have the right to secure our border!!!!

We have a right to know just who is living and working in our country!!!!

We have a right to demand to you follow the rules to come here, and while you are here!!!

We have a right to kick you out if you are not here by our leave!!!!

We are the Citizens of The United States of America!!!!
I asked a cop yesterday what the plan was for today, May 1st regarding the planned criminal alien action and their wishes to disrupt the the very country that purport to love.

He said he was gonna go out and buy a plasma screen TV, and that it was a mandatory work day and everybody had to be in to work today. When I asked him if he had heard anything about ICE wandering around at the edges of the city mustering manpower and resources he just smiled and shrugged and said "I can't wait to see what happens."

    This should be good.
BLOGGER REACTION TO MAY 1 - A DAY WITHOUT LATINOS

    By Heidi at Euphoric Reality

Today is the much ballyhooed Day Without Latinos......otherwise known as Nothing Gringo Day...officially (yes, as in politically-official) known as the Great American Boycott of 2006: No Shopping, No School, No Work.

Amboy Times has some helpful advice for the title of these strikes/boycotts/stick-it-in your-eye rallies: "I recommend a less confrontational title, perhaps 'Bite The Hand That Feeds You Day' or how about boycotting all the free medical care, schools, and other government services? They could call it 'No Payroll Taxation Means No Government benefits Day' - hmm...a bit wordy, that one...”

Whatever the name, illegal aliens (presumably of Latino descent only, since this is all about THEM, nevermind the hundreds of thousands of illegals from Ireland, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, etc.) intend to show us that THEY are the engine that drives the American economy. They hope to wreak havoc on our economy to prove that we can never live a day without them because "THEY are America."

Pro-immigration activists say a nationwide boycott and marches planned for May 1 will flood Americas's streets with millions of Latinos to demand amnesty for illegal immigrants and shake the ground under Congress as it tackles reform.
    [...]
"There will be 2 to 3 million people hitting the streets in Los Angeles alone. We're going to close down Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Tucson, Phoenix, Fresno," said Jorge Rodriguez, a union official who helped organize earlier rallies credited with rattling Congress as it debates the issue.

Organizers of the May Day marches, which have strong support from big labor and the Roman Catholic church, vow that America's major cities will grind to a halt and its economy will stagger as Latinos walk off their jobs and skip school.

Various city leaders, contrary to their appointed duties, are having the opposite kind of reaction you'd expect. In the spirit of truly compassionate sycophants, they plan to aid and abet the lawbreakers:

Teachers' unions in major cities have said children should not be punished for walking out of class. A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Unified School District said school principals had been told that they should not try to keep students in class but instead should walk with the children to help keep order.

In Chicago, Catholic priests have helped organize protests, sending information to all 375 parishes in the archdiocese.

Personally, while I don't like it, I have to thank them for spitting in America's face over and over. That bitter froth is starting to wake up the apathetic to just how wrong everything is. As Right As Usual points out: "The more the Aliens gain 'strength', the more natives get their backs up. Take a hint, Pedro - you DON'T have the right to petition the government - it isn't YOUR government. That's a right granted to CITIZENS of the USA."

BobGriggs.com voices the sentiment of an ever-growing contingent of appalled Americans:

"I have finally reached the boiling point on illegal immigration. We are a nation of laws, including those that control how visitors can enter this country, how long they can stay and how they can become permanent citizens. I expect those visitors to obey the same laws that citizens are expected to follow; and I expect my government to enforce the law when those visitors choose to ignore it.

It’s bad enough when the invaders (and that’s what they are) sneak across the border by night, then hide in the undocumented crevices of society. It is quite another thing to then demand, by the light of day, that their lawlessness be excused. Such have been the marches staged across the nation and in my Capitol– thousands of lawbreakers protesting my representatives’ efforts to control our borders and stop the lawlessness.

It angers me when the interlopers so brazenly demand the protection of the same law that they flaunted with their very first steps on American soil. My blood boiled as I watched student illegals skip the classes that you and I paid for to protest that you and I aren’t doing enough. I fumed as I watched illegals, waving the Mexican flag, insist that I 'treat them like Americans'.”

Kit at Euphoric Reality reports that Tulsa is planning a HUGE rally for immigrants where cooperation with the masses and the enabling of lawbreakers is the order of the day. Event organizers, having learned from previous rallies that defiant Mexican flag-waving is counter-productive to their claims that "We are Americans, too", has urged participants to only carry U.S. flags and "wear white as a symbol of hope". They are also referring to their movement as A Day Without Immigrants. Yes, yet another rally nickname, but this one apparently aims to be more generically "inclusive".

...CSA (American Dream Coalition, or Coalicion del SueƱo Americano) President, Rev. Victor Orta II, said that arrangements had been made with Tulsa Public Schools, Broken Arrow Schools, and Union School District for high school students to be allowed to leave at 1:30 p.m. in order to give parents the opportunity to take their children to the rally if they wish.
    ....
Orta also wished to dispel rumors in Tulsa's Latino community that the Tulsa Police Department (TPD) is planning on using the event as a way to corral undocumented individuals, or that federal immigration officers would be undercover at the rally.

"I spoke personally with [acting Police Chief] Bill Wells," Orta said, "and he assured me that a policy was established several years ago that 'no officer of ours is allowed to ask anyone for immigration papers, and that policy has not changed'."

Orta described his discussions as being "very positive," adding that [Police Chief] Wells will be a podium guest and possibly a speaker at the rally, and the only police presence at the May 1 event is to be for security reasons. Orta is scheduled to meet with Sheriff Stanley Glanz this week to work out similar arrangements with county officers.

Tulsa Community College (TCC) has volunteered the free use of its downtown parking lots for rally attendees in another sign of the cooperative spirit many organizations in the community are showing in what is seen as perhaps the most critical time in the history of Latino immigration.

Whoops - there it is again - Latinos only, I guess. It is all about THEM, after all. Fortunately, contradicting Reverend Orta's assurances, an eyewitness trucker one hour south of Tulsa reported seeing 30 ICE vehicles and approximately 10 white government buses heading north toward the city tonight. Are the government vehicles carrying refreshments for the rallying masses or dare we hope that our government has plans to do the right thing?

Similarly, Right on the Right wonders if something is brewing in LA. Another eyewitness spotted something hopeful - go here to find out what he saw - and approached an officer:

"I asked one of the deputies what the deal was, and he said 'The deal with what? I don't see anything.'

This boycott tomorrow in L.A. is going to get very interesting. Did anyone else notice that the cops are being really nice in helping to block off streets and herd people into certain areas? The planned route down Wilshire from MacArthur park to La Brea is easily an area that could be cordoned off with the right amount of troops and some strategic planning.

    Viva La Revolucion my ass!!!!"

One has to wonder if anyone has remembered to tell the California legislators that they're coddling a huge mass of people who are lawbreakers to a man! They seem to have forgotten that laws are meant to be followed, and instead they are busy issuing obsequious statements of support.

Pamibe reports that "California’s state senators on Thursday endorsed Monday’s boycott of schools, jobs and stores by illegal immigrants and their allies as supporters equated the protest with great social movements in American history:
By a 24-13 vote that split along party lines, the California Senate approved a resolution that calls the one-day protest the Great American Boycott 2006 and describes it as an attempt to educate Americans “about the tremendous contribution immigrants make on a daily basis to our society and economy.”

So I have to ask the obvious: with civic leaders, law enforcement officers, and lawmakers like that, who needs laws??? Apparently, not America.

Make no mistake, the immigration reform being debated endlessly in the Senate is NOT what the illegals really want. It's too complicated, too much work, and will cost a fine – so forget that! Besides, if they cared so much about citizenship, they'd have at least started paperwork somewhere. Remember the illegals I interviewed during the last pro-illegal rally? None of them in 5, 10, or 15 years had ever bothered to apply for citizenship. Too hard, too much work. And why bother - when they get what they want without it?! American citizenship is NOT what really matters to illegal aliens. What is sacred and meaningful to true Americans is nothing more, to them, than convenient access to the world's largest labor market. That's it.

But nevermind, because "earned citizenship", as President Bush cozily calls it, will not cut it anyways. Illegal aliens and their advocates don't have any intention of settling for having to earn their way, no matter how easy the Senate reform may make it for them. They want ever-so-much MORE than that!

"We want full amnesty, full legalization for anybody who is here (illegally)," Rodriguez said. "That is the message that is going to be played out across the country on May 1."

Ace In The Hole acknowledges the blatant slap in the face:

"And so it goes... Want in one hand and SPIT in the other...

If our politicians and lawmakers want to keep their jobs, they'd better remember THIS: there's a hell of a lot more than 12 million AMERICANS that ARE here legally, and we VOTE...

Short of taking to the street and engaging in ARMED confrontation, the voting booth is our ONLY option, but something else the politicians had better consider, there are MANY Americans, right now, that are armed and ready, this nation is on the verge of open hostilities, armed conflict committed by our CITIZENS against ILLEGAL INVADERS, and I can't say that this is at all an unimaginable option to be honest about it...

IF the PRESIDENT of the USA would do his job, instead of kissing every Mexican ass he can find, this could ALL be avoided...

Close the border, deport the ILLEGAL INVADERS and restore order to this nation... Wake up President Bush, YOU are personally destroying the southwestern United States with YOUR inaction and incompetent administration of this nation...

Mr. Bush had better decide which side of this fight he's on, because at the moment, it appears he's damn sure on the side of the Mexicans and IF the voters of the USA have ANY sense at all, we will vote OUT any politician that supports Mr. Bush on this amnesty debacle, no matter WHICH party they belong to..."

Frustration with our do-nothing government abounds. Publius Rendezvous states: "The debates within our Senate pertaining to illegal immigration do nothing but illustrate what many have ascertained for quite some time - our Senators know how we feel on this issue, but have blatantly ignored our concerns. What has been glossed over by our 'thorough' MSM is that Congress' approval ratings are worse than President Bush's. And, I assert that their utter disregard for our sentiments directly correlates with such."

AmboyTimes asks: "So what can a poor gringo do? How about 'Nothing Mexican Day'? ...Our leaders in government may be spineless, but we still have control over our own spending, and we can send a message to illegals and the Mexican government that we're not going to take this lying down. There is no reason why this won't work, and we can do it (si ,se puede) without protesting, breaking laws, race-baiting or even calling names."
BobGriggs.com has taken that concept even further and suggests 'Nothing Mexican on Cinco de Mayo'. As seen on Fox and Friends: "This year, Cinco de Mayo will be a celebration of my hope that America will repulse the current invasion of illegal aliens. I will not patronize my favorite Mexican restaurant nor any other Hispanic-owned or “Mexican-themed” business on May 5 or the week thereafter. Neither will I employ the services of any company that I know to employ illegal aliens. If you feel as frustrated and as voiceless as I do, please join me in my mini-protest and support America’s sovereignty with your dollars on Friday, May 5."

    The Independent Conservative respectfully disgarees:

"I must say that while I feel his anger, given we live in the same county that is loaded with illegals. I think his response should be a little more measured than an all out boycott of all that has Mexican heritage. The protesters that favor illegal immigration are not representative of all Mexicans. While far too many are on their side, we should be careful not to respond to their anti-American/anti-White actions by treating all Mexicans as if they are in agreement with the activity of the Mexican protesters.

So how does one separate those who are in league with condoning illegal activity, from those who do not? Simple, you ask. Just as I’ve shown via my own actions, I think all Americans should strive to do the same every day. I know it may not be doable for all purchases, but try as best you can to always only support businesses that do not employ illegals and do not take part in these protests.

I think instead of boycotting a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo, that it would have a far greater impact if Americans walked into a Mexican restaurant, asked to speak to the owner and asked 'were you open on May 1?' If they say no, then leave. Also ask 'do you employ illegals?' If they say yes, then leave. That will show them you are serious about taking your money elsewhere. And alternatively, you might find a business owned by people who have Mexican heritage, but wish to be 100% American and respect our laws."

Kender's Musings has yet another perspective, one I call the "Stay Home and Stay Stupid" strategy:

"I agree with this boycott...because [it] is going to backfire on these people, and the disruption they cause to millions of LEGAL CITIZENS who, in the course of living their legal lives of doing their duty to make this country great are going to have to endure millions of whiny criminals and their supporters blocking the streets and taking up airtime on our TV's, making their day that much harder.

Anyone that takes the day off to protest should be fired. But that may only happen in a handful of cases. On the other hand, this protest is going to hurt the educations of the kids that are out in the middle of this, and that is fine by me.

Outlined below is my support for this boycott. As far as I am concerned these people can boycott for the rest of their lives. They are much cheaper to hire when they are legal citizens without a decent education.

    I Agree with the Boycott

That's right, I agree with the boycott.

    Especially for the kids.

Everybody listen up, on May 1st stay home from school.

Do NOT go to school. Stay home and sleep, go protest and work on that car in your driveway while hanging clothes on the line tied between the apartment building and the dead tree, and I will tell you why:

Because when you stay home from school your school loses valuable money that is used to educate your stupid asses, and maybe if your education drops to a low enough level you will be forever stuck cleaning the toilets, washing the cars and mowing the lawns of the people that know what it means to be an American, and your lower economic status will be assured, hence your power in society will be limited to threatening to leave the rest of us with long grass and dirty dishes at the restaurant.

Jarhead's Firing Range agrees with the boycott too, but for different reasons:

"Illegal immigrants plan feeble attempt to strike back at the hand that feeds them. Border jumping criminals are rallying behind a plan to boycott all things American on May 1st. This will include not going to work, and not spending money at any American owned business establishments. It will also be carried out inside the cesspool known as Mexico.

These idiots fail to realize that American owned companies are the largest source of employment in Mexico. They whine that the wages paid there are not enough. -Then don't take the job?

As far as their boycott here in the states, I'm all for it. I hope that those that employ these criminals will actually be hurt by this. Perhaps they'll not hire criminals in the future. Hopefully, every illegal that doesn't go to work on May 1st will be fired. I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen though."

Speaking of protests south of the border, Independent Conservative points out that if the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico keeps this up, they might end up causing the pro-illegal crowd to realize that their massive protests have been the best recruiting tool for all of us who wish to send illegals back over the border:

US Lobbyists Denounce Mexico’s ‘Nothing Gringo’ Boycott (WSJ.com registration required to view the entire article)

“This is like shooting oneself in the foot,” Rubin said. “U.S. companies have been the first to lobby, launching a huge lobbying effort for immigration reform. … Why hurt something that is helping you?”

South of the border, Mexicans are targeting American stores and chain restaurants - “That means no Dunkin’ Donuts, no McDonald’s (MCD), Burger King (BKG.XX), Starbucks (SBUX), Sears (SHLD), Krispy Kreme (KKD) or Wal-Mart (WMT),” reads one email making the rounds.

Wal-Mart/Walmex is the biggest private employer in Mexico. Huge shocker there, huh? Wal-Mart is like the slum lord of the planet.

Amber and Chaos offers sound advice for furious Americans watching the legislative branch of our government get hi-jacked: "If you are angry as I am about the demonstrations going on [today], then [today] is the time to express your outrage. Write your Senators and Congressperson...do something that could, potentially, put some backbone into our congresspeople on the issue of Immigration Reform. Tell them that if they do NOT vote for a strong secure-border plan, nothing else they do has any meaning for you, and you are going to vote against them, when you get a chance."

While you’re at it, remind them of our laws. Woman Honor Thyself has a quick synopsis of the laws our lawmakers are so willing to overlook [Title 8:Section 1325. Improper entry by alien]: "Know THE LAW, my dear friends. Knowledge is power. What part of LAW do the folks up in Washington and the lefty do-gooders fail to comprehend?"

Meanwhile, A Cool Change has his own plans for boosting the economy that will supposedly be staggering without the contributions of illegal aliens: "Illegal aliens and their supporters have been urged not to buy anything on May 1 to demonstrate just how important they are economically to the United States. (So they buy extra on April 30 or wait until May 2. Big deal.) I’m participating in my own way. I’ve been postponing a much needed trip to Sam’s Warehouse for about two weeks now, and boy do I have one heck of a shopping list."

Third World County scoffs at how seriously the illegal alien lobby takes itself: "... the boycott scheduled for tomorrow in support of Reconquista is B.S.... BTW, I’ve scheduled a shopping trip for tomorrow (May 1). I figure it’s time I bought some Mexican flags to burn on May 5."

On a related subject, Freedom Folks reacts with epithet-laced fury to a Hispanic Marine who has defiantly chosen to side with lawbreakers:
"If any American serviceperson finds their loyalties divided they are in the wrong goddamn job!
    [...]
I reiterate, should you find your loyalties divided, here's a thought...Get the fuck out! Go back to the country you seem to feel an allegiance for. When you don that uniform you become an exemplar, what that means, and I'm gonna type this slow because clearly you're an idiot, is you cannot then wave your fucking uniform as a banner for LAW-BREAKING, you ignorant sack of shit!!

If you think I'm being too hard on this individual, I would retort -- I don't think I'm being hard enough. When you swear an oath it either means something or it doesn't, if it doesn't mean anything to you that tells me you are a faithless motherfucker not worth pissing on if you were on fire.

I truly cannot tell you how upset I am with this "Marine." This alleged "hero." Because to me when you start advocating for law-breaking you lose hero status pretty goddamn fast.

Is this the price of granting the children of illegals entrance into the proud tradition of the most fearsome fighting machine in the history of mankind? That we must grant them special --above the law -- privileges?

That price is too high for any nation to pay and remain a strong nation.

Quietly, but presciently, Bear Creek Ledger reminds us of some serious national security concerns and cautions us that amid all the hullaballoo, we are still perilously vulnerable: “As Senators and the Administration diddle over amnesty for illegal aliens (which will include members of Hezbollah and MS-13) they are leaving our US borders unprotected. There is no intent by these Senators to stop the flow of illegal aliens over the border thereby ignoring the National Security of our country. All the Republican Senators consider is supposedly "cheap" labor and the Democrats are trolling for votes. Guess with the first suicide bomber (if that truly is the first) all the same Senators will come out pointing the finger at anyone but themselves. I think as we will see in the coming weeks Rep. Hastert will also abandon any veneer of protecting the borders by the House of Representatives."

That is, unfortunately, a very probable prediction.

So...now you know what the Guard the Borders Bloggers think about this, and what some plan to do about it. What about you?

It is temporary (we are under construction) but I figured since I am being l blinded mentally by the idiocy of so many people "boycotting" the country that they claim to love that you can be blinded in a more literal sense of the word on the day that should make patriots wanna claw someone eyes out due to frustration......
I just had an urge for a chocolate shake.

You know those urges you get late in the evening that say "Yeah, that would go over perfectly right now."

I had one hit me for a chocolate shake, so I did what I so often do, and that is run around the corner to the Jack in the Box.

This particular JIB occassionally screws up the order (I am sure they teach 'em that in drive up window school), but no more than any other fast food joint. As I said, it is occassional, unlike my late night flights to this particular JIB.

    But that all ended tonight.

In the interest of fair disclosure I must divulge that I once worked for Jack in the Box, as a "Mystery Guest" which was a program they had inhouse that other companies call "Secret Shoppers". I had fun at that job, driving to the various JIBs and running the scenarios the schedule had laid out for me and then reporting in to give the man on the street perspective.

The program ended while I was in it, and now they just hand out receipts with a chance to win money if you call in and give your opinion.

I always wondered if me working for them had any bearing on their decision....

Anyway, this JIB is staffed with what seems to be all latinos, and I asked the manager if they would be open tomorrow. He said "No".

"Why?" I asked, knowing that this could get ugly.

"Nobodies coming in. I'm not even coming in."

    "Why not" I pressed.

"We're going on revolucion." he loudly exclaimed.

"Cool, got the corporate number?" I asked

He pointed out the number for customers on teh window and said "right there"....I said "Never mind, you guys have fun on your protest, it'll make a great statement, I used to work for JIB corporate, I'll give the office a call myself."
    And I drove off.

Jack in the Box is now added to the ever growing list of companies that I refuse to do business with, right alongside "Target" (refuses to support veterans ogranizations) Smart'n'Final (french owned) several other french owned companies and Wal Mart (hate to deal with their clientele out here, can afford better so I shop better).

Jack in the Box corporate will be hearing from me in the morning....I hope they hear from you too.
I was just at a major local park that includes a dam complex, and noticed about 38 ICE vehicles with about 15 Sherrifs Department busses in a locked parking lot. There were two helicopters that had been landed there also and some of those light APCs that the military uses to move troops through war zones.

I asked one of the deputies what the deal was, and he said "The deal with what? I don't see anything."

    Viva La Revolucion my ass!!!!

In honor of the fact that alleged millions of people that support criminals are planning to basically commit what amounts to treason by trying to attack the economic viability of the United States tomorrow I am going to state again that I agree with this boycott, but not because I agree with the ideals of those organizing this action or think that we should reward millions of criminals in our midst, but because this boycott is going to backfire on these people, and the disruption they cause to millions of LEGAL CITIZENS who, in the course of living their legal lives of doing their duty to make this country great are goiing to have to endure millions of whiny criminals and their supporters blocking the streets and taking up airtime on our TV's, making their day that much harder.

Anyone that takes the day off to protest should be fired. But that may only happen in a handful of cases. On the other hand, this protest is going to hurt the educations of the kids that are out in the middle of this, and that is fine by me.

Outlined beloew is my support for this boycott.

So stay home, little latino children, and make sure your stupid friends of whatever color do the same.....stay home, stay stupid, do the American citizens that understand what it means to be American a favor....I can pay you a hell of a lot less that way.
